An woman asked me recently how is it I’ve come to be in my late 40s and never married. I told her the following:

“When I was younger and wanted to date women my age, they weren’t interested in me. They were either having fun f~~~ing wild boys or getting free s~~~ from older, more established guys. Since I was neither, I was pretty much invisible to them… a nuisance… a creep.”

“Now that I’ve spent the middle 15-20 years of my life building a business and making a good living for myself, suddenly I am the older, more established guy and yeah, younger women will date me… but all they want from me is free s~~~ and they’re also f~~~ing those wild boys.”

“So given that I wasn’t born with smashing good looks and didn’t develop a dangerous personality when I was young, and given that I’m not a stupid tool as an adult, at what point in my life COULD I have met someone to settle down with?

Here is my life in a nutshell:

Now that I have confidence and resources, I could use them to procreate and consider myself a biological success… but I don’t want to. I refuse to produce a child with and pay for a woman, particularly not one who wouldn’t have me when I was younger or who is trying to mug me so that she can fund her own self-destruction.

As you might imagine, this conversation did not end well, as with most of my discussions with women.

It is sad that when you were open to a relationship, when you were still building your life, and you could have used some help and support, women snubbed you. Now, you have something, the only women that want you are either those that original snubbed you, whom are around the same age as you. Or, the younger generation of women that just want something from you, and whom were just as bad as the original women that snubbed you in the first place.

And you see these women for what they are, and you reject them. Because you are a honorable individual. And you are not a hypocrite.

Sixty years ago, women were taught to marry men that had the potential for success. Not to marry men that were already successful. Because a successful man would see no use in marrying a woman. But, by marrying a man with the potential for success, the woman could be supportive and help the man to success. And in doing so, the wife could ride the man’s coattails to success, while ensuring the man’s loyalty to her.

There are presently too many shortsighted gold-diggers, and no enough long term planners, among the women of western civilization.

When I was 20, average looking and broke and women didn’t want me I understood it was part of the nature of things… and now that I’m 47 and more distinguished and successful and some women want me, I still understand it’s the nature of things. But it’s that part in the middle that gets me.

As Bill Burr says, women today aren’t going to run along side you in the race or even ride in the support van and hand you a cup of water now and then. They’re just going to stand at the finish line and fling pussy at the first couple of guys who cross it.

When I was 30 and struggling to build my business, I would have welcomed the assistance of a 28 year old woman who could see the wall in her future, recognized that it was time to find a decent man and would help him to achieve something great for himself, knowing he would share it with her out of gratitude and his basic nature. But those women were nowhere to be found.

From 1998 to 2012 I couldn’t get the attention of a woman to save my life. If it weren’t for international travel during those years, I wouldn’t have gotten any at all. And now that I’ve made something of myself, some skank who spent the best ten years of her life riding the c~~~ carousel and living a consequence-free “empowered” lifestyle hits her decline and is ready to give me my chance to pay her bills and catch her diseases? I hear you Doc, It’s like the modern female is free to do who, or whatever she wants! She has altered the timing of appropriation of family unlike in times past.
The changes are profound and devastating to any society as a whole. Instead of having a useful and productive mesh in the mechanics of male/female relationships, feminism has sheared a tooth off the timing gear, now the teeth are violently chewing the man-gear to chips!
We’re the lucky ones, we never engaged ourselves in feminism’s transmission, and now these women are desperately looking for NEW (not chipped) man-gears, the same gears they destroyed driving the vehicle of feminism.

Yes. We see eye to eye on this. Women today want their cake and eat it too. They want the success without ever doing anything to earn it. I disagree somewhat regarding what women used to be taught, and what they are taught now. Yes, women are taught differently, but I think it has less to do with a change in gameplay and more to do with the changing environment.

Women used to seek out men with potential because there were fewer options given the environmental conditions. There were very few well established men to pick from. She also could not wait around for Mr. Right to show up because she could not get a good job to support her lifestyle. She was probably still living with her parents till she got married. She could not sleep around as the whore label would absolutely stick and no good man would take her. And there was solid housework to do, as well as child rearing took a lot more effort then it does today. She could not divorce her husband without solid reasons and would be SOL if she did. The average woman could not do what the average woman does today.

I don’t see it as though behavior, or the underlying general nature of men and women has changed, I just see it as changing environment where the old rules and roles no longer work. We are stuck in a transition where we still crave the traditional roles, yet cannot get security from them, and want the option to switching to more modern rules. What does work is dropping out of the game altogether.

You are correct. The lessons were only one part.

Also, there is some truth that women date men like that fathers. No fathers, no idea who to date.

In that day and age, women saw how their fathers treated their mothers, and realized it was a good deal for them to find someone like that father to be with and marry.

With their mothers teaching the daughters to find a man with the potential for success, like the mothers did.

It should be noted during this time that parents also taught their sons not to sleep around either.

At that point in time, the average woman slept with two or three men before getting married. With the average man sleeping with five women. And the marriages tended to last because the laws where not yet changed to where the woman would get everything in the divorce, with interest.

True all that. But feminism, with the support of some thirsty men, rescued women from all this drudgery and empowered them to live how they want, do what they want and suffer no consequences. As a result, those fish “don’t need” us bicycles any more.

Now my bicycle has become a Harley and their fish are drying up and dying. Serves them right for denying their true selves and instead thinking they could be and do the same things we can.

Nice Doc…pretty much sums up my disinterest in dating or finding a partner as well. I find I have the most female interest in me now that I’m at a point in my life where I have more to lose than I’ve ever had, and they have the least to give.

The last female I had show interest in me just earlier this week…single mom, never been married, works a sucky job yet somehow she can afford to drive a Mercedes, and her baby daddy is in jail. Kid, check. Debt, check. Sketchy baby daddy, check. She’s good looking to the point where it would definitely be awesome to see her naked and have sex with her, but after talking to her for a few minutes all the drama gave me such a negative boner I thought my pecker was going to turn into a vagina. If I met her when I was in the 20-25 range it would have been a jackpot but obviously she was too busy having fun and riding the carousel, and now here she is in the 30-35 range looking for a nice guy to settle down with…only she’s all used up and nothing to show for it!

The old rules and roles seem a lot better to me, and actual equality seems a lot better to me, but unfortunately we are stuck in a transition period where as men we are stuck with the worst aspects of each. Women want the old rules and roles where it benefits them and where it does not they want equality. As a man I simply don’t want to play when I know the game is rigged against me.
