I’m not buying it. OldBill left after there were repeated threads calling for his ouster. Both of those members are now gone. Knowing OldBill, he is probably not happy about it. OldBill adds so much value to these forums. He has had a profound impact on my life. I hope he comes back soon.

Yeah, I remember that. If I recall correctly, the c~~~ who wanted Bill gone got totally trashed. Old Bill has a lot of support on this site, but as I stated in the other thread, being hounded by trolls is tiring. Bill had one who stalked him 24/7, instantly replying to every one of Bill’s comments on every thread for days. It was f~~~ing disgusting. I would’ve left too if it were me.

Gambit, Take a break, sit back and please do not try to provoke this issue. Let time be the judge on what these men decide to do or not do. It is their decision and uninformed speculation will on inflame the issue.

Both conversations that I had with the were cordial and neither indicated that there was anything wrong at MGTOW.com that would have kept them away otherwise.

Oh Zarathustra, you hit the 16 penny nail square with a ten pound sledge. One has only to look at the forum posts over the past three weeks to see why many members, myself included, have not posted or replied to the majority of posts.

There are many members, myself again included, who have mentioned taking a break and becoming less active on MGTOW.com. Will this mean that we become inactive during our absence, or merely reduce our involvement … only time will tell.

With all due respect Puffin, none one on MGTOW.com has any responsibilities besides going their own way.

You have known OldBill and Jan much longer than I have, but I know them well enough to know that they would not leave permanently without addressing the forum. Both are very strong and independent men, as others have stated, who have very involved lives outside of MGTOW.com. Might be something to consider.

While it is very easy to use the forum to raise speculation and angst, it is slightly more difficult to PM someone to ask how they are doing or to inquire if they would provide an email or phone number for a more lengthy conversation. Another point for possible consideration.

OldBill was on zoom well after those incidents, and even changed his zoom name to “OldB~~~~”. Because he thought it was funny. I assure you, are you quite mistaken.

Thanks, Stump. I am glad someone else also remembers the sequence of events which led to him pulling back.

I tried to defend OldBill against both of those imbeciles. It wasn’t enough. Keymaster banned one of them (WOTGM) while the other one (Monk Mode) requested his account to be deleted after his last thread received plenty of pushback. It was titled, “Ban OldBill”.

I do suspect that Monk Mode may have needed a reason to be deleted from the forums. OldBill being mean to him was his excuse.
