My son is a freshman in a highly gifted highschool with a focus on computer science.

I’m looking for university recommendations for him, but with a twist that I suspect is a tall order. What universities in the US or Europe would you recommend that is not completely corrupted by SJW’s.

I worked hard to minimize my divorce rape and maintain custody of my son (started out with 50/50 and I now have 75%). The last thing I want to do is send him off to some university that caters to students majoring in Gender Studies.

I recommend Hillsdale College in Michigan.

Any public university is going that way. Probably your best bet is a private university ran by a religious institution that is known to be conservative. Don’t have to be religious, just don’t have to deal with the SJWs

Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free.

University of Wisconsin, even out of state tuition is cheap. PM for more details.

    Colorado School of Mines

AFAIK it is almost entirely STEM. For some reason math to SJWs is like sunlight to a vampire.

If you have the money for private schools, Rose Hulman in Terra Haute Indiana. Wonderful small tech and engineering school. Bigger state school, Purdue. Down south Georgia Tech or Texas A&M. Keep him away from anywhere in the northeast or the west coast. Anywhere dominated by feminazis and the left wing lynch mob.

I have a different take on university recommendations.

It would be nice if he could get a degree without incurring a mountain of debt.

With this in mind, maybe he could start at a community college while living at home. (He would save a fortune). Later, maybe he could transfer to a university. Are there any close to home? Again, if he could live at home for a few years he would save a fortune. If he pursed graduate studies, he could always take out a loan. If he attended a state school instead of an Ivy League school he would save a ton of money.

I had school loans after I got out of med school, but the loan amounts were small.

    ^this.

Think college, not university, and dedicated STEM, not general studies. I’m talking Rose-Hullman, Cooper Union, Harvey Mudd, Franklin Olin, Bucknell, and other schools like that where it’s all about academics, not touchy feely social bulls~~~. By the time he’s finished a four year degree from one of those hard core schools he’ll be immune to social justice bulls~~~ (and likely have a strong contempt for it) found at any university when he goes beyond a B.Sc.

That being said, he needs to keep his academics up, and he needs to do that now. It’s not enough to just focus on computers. He needs to be tearing through the hardest math classes he can get. And any other sciences as well just because.

Hillsdale in Michigan is an excellent choice. Dartmouth and Pepperdine also had good reputations for not being overrun by SJWs last time I checked.

I don't hate women. I just feel better when they're not around.

Rensselaer polytechnic institute. Top notch Ivy league education focusing solely on STEM. Male to female ration 5:1. If you have a spare 50K a year this is a great choice.

Computer Science field is full of SJW already…
College is something useful only if he need to emigrate to another country to work, if he doesn’t need that, please, keep him away from college.
If he need any formal proof of knowledge, tell him to study for a certification, it is by far more practical than college. Buy him some CS books, a good computer, two servers + networking equipment, arduino/raspberry pi + electronic stuff (soldering iron, multimeter, etc…), and let him study by himself.

This is far cheaper than going to college, and he will own the stuff “forever”, will be able to learn from it and make several experiments. Make an agreement with him, that he will write code for 6 hours a day, and study for another 6 hours, in no more than two years, he will be by far, more experienced and more competent than any average college student.

The only need for college degree in the CS field, is just to get a visa.

That depends on which end of the field you’re talking about. The more science there is in your computer science, the less bulls~~~ you’ll find.

Any of the better UW schools are insanely liberal. Do not consider them.

    Hillsdale is a great recommendation.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Yes, way, way back in the 1970’s .. UW-LaCrosse was already well known for it’s early computer science department.
