Just when I thought that it couldn’t get any worse than a female Ghostbusters (I can’t help it, I’m never going to stop being angry about that).

But…here’s something to take the focus off that, I guess.

I have never had cause to regret my decision to stop paying for anything from Marvel.

    Not even worth torrenting.

Did someone inadvertently dip Libby’s face into an ice cream cone toppings bin?

And yes, I’ll ask the verboten question,
“How the f~~~ did her breasts get so low on her ribcage?
    From dressing conservatively?
    Humbly?
    In a reverential manner?
    What’s next?

"It seems like there's times a body gets struck down so low, there ain't a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don't even want to get up again. But he does."

It is not the diversity, it is the storytelling that concerns me.

For example, the way Miles became Spider-man was very well done. The storytelling was slow, the reasons given the plot worked. And it made for good storytelling. And it has a good supporting cast. I am so happy they gave Miles his mother back, after the Secret Wars storyline.

Kamala Kahn becoming Ms Marvel was also well handle. The storytelling has been very sharp and very funny. The cast has been strong.

And after I got to think about, I came to like this idea of another muslim teenage girl being a Marvel superhero. (The other two muslim women superheroes are Monet and Dust of the X-men being the other.) Muslim women are suppose stay home, be quiet, and cover their face. Kamala is not doing any of those things.

Also, in the story, Kamala is a fanfiction writer and big fangirl of the heroes she works with. That is a comedy gold mine.

When it comes to Jane Foster as Thor. We have known since the What If issue in 1978 that Jane was worthy to wield the hammer. I am just surprised it took this long Marvel to let Jane us the hammer.

The one issue is how Marvel handled Jane as Thor in the beginning. They made it a mystery, where not only was any Asgard able to lift Mjolnir, but a anonymous woman, that Marvel made out could be any woman, could lift the hammer. If Marvel had just outright showed that Jane was Thor at the beginning of the story, things would have been fine.

And Jane has Thor has been a wonderful series.

Also, other plots and characters in the Thor series have been good. It is nice to see Loki from Loki Agent of Asgard is back.

In addition, Mjolnir has grown from a plot device to an actual character. It is strongly hinted that the hammer is more powerful than it use to be. The hammer likes Jane, and it gives Jane more power that it did Thor Odinson. Also, the hammer seems to dislike Odin as much as Jane.

See what I am saying. It is the storytelling that is the issue.

Just bringing in a new character that takes the armor and costume of a character, especially a character whom is very secretive and controlling of his technology, is poor storytelling. If Riri has been Stark’s student for a year with the plot build up, I believe very few would argue with her being “Iron Woman”.

I hate this forced diversity crap on the entertainment I used to love. I don’t want some gay, tranny, Muslim to become a new Hulk for example out of the sake of “diversity.” F~~~ that s~~~. I’d rather them make their own characters instead of replacing old characters and let the market be the judge.

And Jane has Thor has been a wonderful series.

    Uh, no…Just no…

The new female Thor is a damn feminist.

    Seriously, f~~~ Marvel and DC.

I which scene you are talking about. Early in the series. In the eyes of so many, I would hate that one scene to ruin such a marvelous series.

Well, it ruined it for me. Marvel and DC are SJW companies. It reflects in their recent comic books. I’m not going to support a comic company that has those kinds of scenes in it.

Do you realize the irony of your stance?

Basically, you take the same stance as SJW in that one mistake justifies forever, non-changing judgement on a matter or person.

It wasn’t a mistake. Typos are mistakes. Printing a whole comic to portray a feminazi superhero isn’t a mistake. By all means, you can read that trash if you want, but I’m not going to.

That “one scene” was a “f~~~ you” to people like you and me who are against feminism. Marvel was giving us all the finger when they did that. So no, I’m not going to support their s~~~ty comics.
