I don’t think women realize the 80/20 rule is also in effect here. Its physically impossible that men and women don’t have the same average number of partners, but among men I think your likely to see a minority of Chad’s and Tyrons with very large numbers, where as most guys are well below the average, and among women I think you are likely to see a larger distribution of women closer to the average.

Now your in a position where some girl with (just going by this article) 8 partners thinks she’s average, where as when its time to settle down with a good guy all the good guys shes finding are part of the 80% who only had maybe 1-3 partners who think she’s a slut.

Personally, I don’t care about averages or what other people are doing. I know what my history is, I know what my values are, and I know what I’d want in a potential life partner. For those who don’t think sex starts at a young age for women and high partner counts happen quick, here is a quick story I’ll always remember…
When I was in 6th grade (obviously long time ago) there was one particular day when it was pouring outside so outside recess for lunch was not allowed. Useless teacher left the class to go to the teachers room leaving 30 kids unchecked for about an hour. One girl stayed watch at the door so they wouldn’t get caught. Four of the more dominant/attractive males (for lack of a better word) were picked by some of the girls to stand in the front of the class and make out with them while one of the crazy blondes stood in the back taking photo’s of the group make out session. In 45 minutes 15 of the 16 girls in that class took their turn making out with those 4 guys which included bra’s being un-clipped so breasts could be fondled from the front and hands down the pants for some fingering. The 16th girl didn’t get to participate due to her being severely unattractive. When she was told she could join in too (obviously so the girls could humiliate her) the 4 guys sat down so they wouldn’t have to be the one to touch her.
