Any of you guys done it? What’s it like and would you suggest it to get experience and a foot in a door into better driving jobs? Many better driving jobs require at least some commercial driving experience…I have nothing. Fak.

There was a video on YouTube which shows uber is a scam. You can search for the same on YouTube. There are reasons why it is so cheap. Being a customer is OK, don’t be their driver.

Get a truck driving license. Lots of jobs for anyone with a license. Pricy but you can do quite well.

It depends on the metro area you’re driving. A driver who used to work at one of my posts.

He showed me his weekly earning. It was $1500 for the week. Driving 44 hours.

Or it might be not. I was quick to assume. It would be better if you know someone from your city who drives uber.

Speak to drivers on every ride to work out what you can expect for earnings, hours, initial outlay and ongoing costs.

actually driving uber is profitable if you stick to only driving during peak hours with good multipliers. Depending on the city, if you drive during low traffic hours you’ll be driving long distances, including unpaid empty driving, for reduced fares and spend a lot of time sitting.

Of course if the goal is to drive a truck you should just find a school and finance it, even if you need to find one that will self finance with a downpayment, because almost every big company will offer tuition payment. My down payment was 1k, and a few months ago my company finished paying the tuition and even started paying me the remaining amount of the tuition payment fund.
