I’m only halfway through right now, but I like this guy more and more when I listen to him. He doesn’t say one thing I’d call bulls~~~ on. Listen…
"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
“People don’t know what reform means and neither do I. People don’t want tax reform, they want tax cuts.” Classic Trump. And he’s right.

Anonymous6This drives the Dems mad when he does this. The Dems/MSM can’t understand why people like him, and why people DON’T like them.
Good leader!

Anonymous7He is not the clown, tyrant, bigot or imbecile that the MSM paints him as.
There is a type of civil war going on. The flyover States have had enough and we are rebelling.
The election of Trump proves it.Venom wrote: This drives the Dems mad when he does this. The Dems/MSM can’t understand why people like him, and why people DON’T like them.
The Democrats don’t like America or the American
people and this has been exposed.Loyalty and love is easy to obtain from
people when you show loyalty and love for
the people. He says a lot with few words.
Obama could talk twice as long
and not say half as much.I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

Anonymous2Due to Mr. Trumps tariffs there’s 500 jobs at a steel mill in Illinois created. We are running trains down to it for the fresh USA steel being made. Thanks Mr. Trump!

I would to add Energy. If I’m not mistaken there are a lot of coal miners that went back to work.
The US is on a path to being the largest exporter of oil.

Anonymous2Grue, that’s correct. We are running more coal trains to. Southern Illinois miners are glad.

Do you know how many other businesses are impacted by tariffs? It isn’t just jobs created, but also jobs lost. One can end up selectively picking out what they like to justify whatever view they want. It doesn’t mean it is so. In this case, if you like Trump, what you do is you will cherrypick what you want to see, and ignore the rest.
There ARE side-effects to any government policy. Like, in this one article, which mentioned those 500 jobs, you see one individual working in steel worried he might lose his job:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trade-steel-jobs/trump-steel-tariffs-may-leave-these-u-s-steelworkers-jobless-idUSKCN1GL2V9Gain 500 jobs one place, lose 1200 elsewhere. In that article, the company made mention of a company that imported Russian steel, and proceeded it to sell it to those who make industry vehicles.
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.

All this is speculation at this point. The poker game with Canada and Mexico isn’t over yet. We’re still renogiating NAFTA.

At first I was like oh-s~~~ trade war.The Trumpster used the stick now he is now he is waving the carrot. Lets see who bites.

Anonymous2Your point Sir is valid. I guess all we can pray for is that it brings a positive swing in the job market of steel manufacture. We have moved a lot more raw steel by rail lately though!
It won’t start a trade war unless someone wants one. These countries all charge tariffs on American goods, too. I think he’ll pull off a deal and p~~~ off the Democrats even more. The Dems are going nuts over talk of the Korean peninsula being reunified. How dare he be a good president! If he pulls THAT off he’ll win the Nobel Peace Prize. I’ll bet it drives Obama nuts.

Since it is in a speculation phase, and it is a proposal, than either the business that fired up a plant and hired on people again was either gambling on it going through, or had it in the works prior to the decision anyhow. My point is that things are so jumbled economically, that a single policy in Washington on trade can impact thousands of jobs. Yes, it is posturing.

The current economy, and many of the jobs, are reflective of the unfair tariff policies we’ve endured over the last 30 years.
Any change to that policy will be disruptive. That’s to be expected.
Whatever changes and improvements might cause job losses in some areas, but job gains are created in others.
The intent is to create more fair trade policies with the rest of the world so we can improve our countries position in global trade.
I did well by voting for Donald Trump by a long shot. He is better than Reagan and the best president in my lifetime. My closest comparison remains Teddy Roosevelt as it was in 2016. He has no party as he puts America first. That is how it should be. For now, he will get my vote again and scream to override an Amendment limiting a President to two terms. I think we finally found a good one and do not wish to lose him.
The freight trains rattle my office when they pass by. I’ve noticed a significant increase in rail traffic in the last 4-ish months (mostly coal, crushed stone, bulk chemicals, and wood products). Also, the owner of the rail system has been making capital improvements to their tracks lately. I think this points toward an improving economy, and I do not think that the same would be happening if we’d elected the “other” candidate…

The more men like him take to office the better our nation will become. THen we can start aiming our sights down on these Traitors.
You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home
