The globalists that control much of government want to replace government with god. This is so that when people worship government they are worshiping the globalists. In other words, the globalists want to replace god with themselves, like the ancient times of Roman Emperors and Egyptian Pharaohs when leaders were worshiped by people as living gods.

I find it amusing — because it torques off Progressives, even if it achieves nothing.

I have nothing against the President worshiping God, but not all Americans worship God or one God. Personally, I prefer ‘Americans worship what *THEY* choose as individuals.’ — that is a statement of religious freedom.

Of the 13 colonies, 8 actually had an Established State religion. While I’m not a believer, I think understanding a society’s dominant religion is worthwhile.

I would add that in most religions, worshiping ‘God’ is worshipping whatever a Priest Caste tells you to worship.

Atheists worship the State/government? I’d say many are liberals, but many are also libertarian… So I’d have to disagree on that one.

I’m an atheist and I don’t worship the State. I agree with your concern though. The State does become God in the Socialist System. It is part of Cultural Marxism. Knocking God off his pedestal, knocks Man off his pedestal too (because Man was made in God’s image). The Socialist State has committed more atrocities than any other religion (and Socialism/Leftism is a Religion). Socialism treats us like Lab Rats, they have robbed life of its sacred status.
