I cut you a little slack on this because you live in the UK and you get most of your information on the U.S. from the propaganda from the corporate media and the socialist BBC.

For example John Bolton. Everyone remembers him working for Bush 43, but almost everyone seems to forget he was politically thrown under the bus by the Bush 43 administration.

As much as Clinton and her minions are looked at as whom are pulling the strings in government to screw over President Trump and his supports, the Bushs also have a hand in this matter.

It could be that President Trump might be trying to turn John Bolton to his side to get the inside information to purge the Bush influence from government. From that theory and what is being reported. The price for John Bolton to do this might be a full pardon for Scooter Libby, which would be a bargain for what John Bolton likely knows.

What he does is not normal. And not because he’s smart. Because he has no clue.

I live and work in Asia – people here don’t want to see the US anymore – he has basically told everyone to f~~~ off last year and now wants in? It won’t be that simple. The deals have already been signed without the US in February.

Apparently, he found he needed leverage when dealing with China, so if the reports are true about TPP, consider it a negotiating point by Trump to get what he wants. Thing with Trump is that he thinks his hand is stronger than it actually is a bunch of times, and he thinks he can spin and posture whenever. In the case of TPP, the U.S will get a worse deal than they did prior, if he tries to go back into TPP. If TPP was such a bad deal for the U.S, the U.S needs to stay out of it. But Trump will waffle and thinks people forget. Maybe masses do, but nations don’t. China will definitely play a long game with Trump and the U.S and a bunch of other nations in Asia will also, as they have been around longer than the United States.

You mean the promise to leave TPP? Promises don’t mean anything to Trump. They represent what he things should be done at a certain time, but he is more than willing to drop anything, if something else is coming along. Your best line of attack is to call this Trump proposing to do TPP again “fake news”. I didn’t see exactly anywhere where Trump is proposing this directly.

As for Brexit, it involves the UK. Who cares if they leave the EU or not? I am American. Why do I care what Britain does internally? As an American, am I supposed to care because it makes Britain worse off than the United States? If so, Brexit is bad for the UK.

Trump always opens with a big bang,….then settles for something around mid ground. I don’t expect him to rejoin the TPP, just use it to get what he wants from the current trade issues.

Who would I rather have in charge? I would rather society figure out how to solve problems on its own, without thinking a single leader can save them. The more you cry out for a single human being to save you for things and “be in charge” the less say you have in things, the less freedom you have, and greater choke point everyone fights over. How about “none of the above”? How Trump has sold people on the answer to problems being a single man is maybe something I can look into. But, I don’t think it is the answer. Maybe you do, however.
