I’m pretty sure the President of the United States and Queen of the United Kingdom. Are the highest roles within the respective countries thus making them in-affect equals. The same would apply with the emperor of Japan or even the King of Spain. You would not see Felipe VI bow to Elizabeth II because are royalty.
In a republic guess who is in affect Royalty, well other than formally this man.

Still, he was expected to follow etiquette. I mean he wasn’t forced to visit England or to meet the Queen.

It’s like the military salute. Military officers are given a salute regardless of who they are. Many are perhaps worthless, useless imbeciles who neither earned nor deserve their rank but they are still given a salute.

The salute is given as respect for the rank and for the institution that that rank represents, not for the individual themselves. You ‘salute the rank, not the man’…

Wew, beta cuck syndrome. Wean off the soybean bruh. Start admiring a man for being a proud man and citizen, and not acting like a subject, pleb, and serf. You also personally lose respect for not defending a man’s right to be himself around a pompous, entitled royal hag.

The point being that (regardless of what he thinks of the Queen) Trump did not have to be there. He met the Queen on his own accord. If you do not intend to show respect or follow etiquette, just don’t show up. That would have been the classier thing to do.

If someone you don’t respect invites you to their home for dinner, you don’t go there and take a s~~~ on their dinning room table. You just decline the invite.

In any case, I don’t think Trump deliberately intended to snub the Queen. Like others have said, he just didn’t care.

Trudeau’s dad was much worse. He intentionally mocked the Queen in her presence and the media loved it…

Former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, known for his flamboyance, was caught on camera doing a pirouette behind the Queen in May 1977 as they took part in a G7 summit in London, England.

And just curious, before going to this home for dinner, do you put up embarrassing effigies like balloons meant to mock the guest and have a bunch of people outside calling you names?

And during the dinner, do you have the guests act in a manners that shows how they are inferior to you?

I saw nothing but unwelcome signals and vitriol leading up to this meeting that you failed to use in that little dinner analogy of yours. Completely disrespectful behavior even before their meeting. Why are you, or at least the left not calling it out? Perhaps, because this little grievance you mention is actually completely fabricated and political in nature which is why I’m calling it horses~~~ hypocrisy.

Complaining about inane outdated courtesies for an undeserving regent who has permitted and sold her country out and allowing children to be raped in Rotherham like if its part of the new UK culture? Like I said, ween off the soy. You will lose respect.

    But not from the Royalty!
As POTUS, Trump needs to be above this kinda s~~~ . He was an invited guest in a foreign country and IMO it’s not asking too much that he should recognize the formal customs and protocols of his host. He was attending a ceremonial event with a figurative head of state. There’s a time and place to go ‘b~~~~-out’. This wasn’t it…

I refer to respect, in this case, for your opinion and views on the matter. It is rather different than an an issue of popularity. I noticed how you dodged the completely discourteous behavior on the UK’s part by the way. Not just the protesters but the queen’s little maneuvers to socially manipulate the representative head of the state of the United States of America. I am essentially saying your views are unfair, bogus, and bias on the matter.
