Donald Trump’s success or failure as the next US president will largely depend on his ability to keep his independence from the “shadow government” and elite structures that shaped the policies of previous administrations, former presidential candidate Ron Paul told RT.

    Let’s hope Trump hear it.

Ron knows the s~~~ he is talking about.

"Young was I once, I walked alone, and bewildered seemed in the way; then I found me another and rich I thought me, for man is the joy of man." Odin, Hàvamàl, stanza 47.

    Yumbo is right ON!

Since Trump cannot be defeated their next tactic will be to co-opt him into their cabal. This can be done with a combination of threats (we will sink your policy/agendas) or rewards. If that fails I fear they will resort to other means, and the Donald will need the BP vest after all. The globalist have no fear, or shame and are supremely arrogant. We all need to pray for our leader and his safety.

As an aside: GOD is it great to have a first lady who is HOT! YES!

Neo-cons are still dangerous if Trump gets them in his circle. Get smart conservatives, but avoid idiots like bill kristol and paul krugman. They are NOT going to be net gains. They have been repudiated soundly for many years and they have no supporters other than the Clintons, Rothchilds, and Soros. Those that need to be prosecuted for treason.

A lot of Trump supporters want Ron Paul as Treasury Secretary. I personally want Ron Paul to be in a position to provide the solution for the US national debt by giving the Fed a minted 20 trillion dollar coin and erase the debt overnight and get us off the FRN.

I agree Bi gBoss; Trump must be careful not to let the establishment republicans (RINOs) high jack his administration—he should stock his cabinet with outsiders, not Washington insiders. Then I recommend working to get rid of Paul Ryan and Mitch s~~~head McConnell. Since the Liberal bureaucracy isn’t going to give an inch I suggest just de-funding them until they wither away.

The difference here is that Trump brought some powerful political artillery with him. Rudy, Newt, Christie. That is not counting others, including a number of retired high ranking military officers.

In addition, the Republicans in Congress and the Senate owe Trump for having control of both houses, while Trump owes them nothing.

For a man who literally wrote the book on “The Art of the Deal” this could not be a better political card hand for Trump to have.

Sorry Faust, Newt and Christie are part of the old establishment and should be jettisoned—especially Christie. He is a failed governor and the farthest thing from a conservative you can get. He was a high taxer and a gun-grabber when he was governor. Sorry crispy cream needs to blow!
That goes for all the bushies and rommneyites—go away you’re not needed or wanted.

These guys will be a boat anchor to the new administration. Trump doesn’t need failed dead weight to drag him down. He should hit the gas pedal—no compromises with anyone drive on ahead and let the losers try and keep up.

This is no longer conservative versus liberals. This is nationalism versus globalism.

Newt controlled the Republican party for several years. He can reign them in. Christie, I am not sure.

Though, both of them have been screw over by the establishment. Republicans kicked out Newt and Christie was harmed over that bridge traffic scandal he had nothing to do with.

I doubt either will turn on Trump.

On the other hand, I have faith Rudy will do the job Trump gives him. I hope that is cleaning up crime across the country. Rudy turned NYC from a toilet into a nice place to live. And he never forgiven the Clintons for helping Bloomberg turn NYC back into a toilet.

It’s simple. Tell Pence to go negotiate xyz. Pence goes to them and says do you want to deal with me or Donald?

Trump isn’t going to sit in some room with politicians negotiating. He ran a corporation. He has people that do that stuff.

All Pence has to say is don’t make me get daddy.

Gentlemen, it’s better to be feared, than loved. They fear him!

Given how Rudy cleaned up New York City. Rudy would likely do better overseeing law enforcement in a more direct manner. Such overseeing Homeland Security.

Rudy is better at being on the ground finding and fixing the problems, instead of prosecuting the problems which are already known.
