Trump/Kim Summit Not Going To Happen

Although my hopes were high for this summit Gentlemen, I am ashamed to admit that my previous hopes/thread was incorrect.

The summit is to be held in Pyongyang. President Trump will not go there no matter the security. It is completely out of context and will not happen in this matter. I stand before you with head bowed.

Although I do wish for this summit to take place as it is over half a century too late, it will not happen. We will f~~~ it up and off and over again. Mark my words, it will not go down. I stand before you bemused and ashamed. Life is a BITCH, and that BITCH usually wins.

This summit may not happen this year, but I believe that eventually a summit will take place. Trump isn’t going to tip his hand for anyone. He said during the debates that telegraphing our intentions is stupid and dangerous. It was North Korea’s idea to have a summit. That’s different. He’s doing very well concerning foreign policy so far. He’s engaged China, he’s engaged Japan, and now he’s getting the North Korea to engage in diplomacy. If North Korea can be made to understand how absolutely useless and dangerous developing nuclear weapons would be for them, that would be a major accomplishment. The DMZ has been the most dangerous place in the world for decades. It’s no wonder most people are skeptical. Give it time. This won’t happen over night, but I believe it will happen.

I know what you mean, joe, it has the same air as when the Berlin wall fell. I grew up in the missile race I’ve always known a world that can be atomically annihilated. I still believe there’s gonna be a limited nuclear war, all it takes is some crazy regime to launch on someone else.

I grew up when enemy atomic warheads were only 20 minutes away! With trident submarines atomic warfare is only a minute or two away!

No doubt Tridents are parked somewhere around the Korean Peninsula! South China Sea, places of atomic retaliation high interest.

Where I live now is just outside several major atomic blast radius’s; New York, Boston, Springfield, Hartford, there’s no targets to the north and that’s my escape route to Vermont.

It will eventually be agreed the meeting will be held in third party nation. Likely China. If not, then the meeting will be held at the DMZ.

There is also the possibility of short range video-teleconference on a dedicated line. President Trump in South Korea, Kim in North Korea.

The rumors that the meeting are not going to happen are from the anti-Trumpers whom have nothing good to say on the matter, because doing so makes President Trump look good, so the anti-Trumpers start rumors that no meeting will take place.
