UK Prime Minster was a bit softer and said it needed reform. She made the exact same half ass job of reforming Cafcass.

Kind of reform it needs is to chuck it in the bin and start again. Just like Cafcass.

I read somewhere recently that Trump is cutting lots of funding to various programs too. One of which is end violence against women and girls.

UK Government gave £10 million to women’s aid. That’s disgusting when that money should go towards elderly and disabled people.

The UN has needed a haircut, actually a bloody good enema, for a very long time.

For too long, largely the US (and other well meaning western democracies) have been supporting this cesspit of third world dictators, Islamist s~~~heads and an armada of hangers-on.

Pull funding now — it’d be the best thing since the league of nations fell apart.

Yup.

There are 193 countries that are part of the UN…yet we foot 22% of the budget(and an even higher % of the peacekeeping budget plus other voluntary contributions). Maybe its time we pay our fair share and only foot .5% of the budget.
