Most of us going our own way realize how parasitic, superficial and damaging modern society is to the modern Man.
I don’t just mean women. I mean the entire SYSTEM; The Matrix. The legal system, courts, mainstream media, hollywood, television, social media, you name it, there is intelligent design to suck away your current and future resources.
But what all have You done to detach from the Matrix? To starve out this cancer?
Stopped dating women? That’s a start… but your still dependent on a system that is ultimately rigged against you. A system that is so complex, the vast majority of citizens have absolutely no clue how fiat currency works, how internet and wi-fi works, how cell phones work: The Hive just consumes and uses.
Our economy is designed to keep people working and consuming indefinitely. To be dependent on the system. To NEED the system in order to survive. My ultimate goal is to be independent of the system. To not NEED it to survive. I look around at my surroundings in public and it’s terrifying that I am “dependent” on this parasitic system that is as sturdy as a house of cards.
Right now, I NEED the grocery store for food. I NEED electricity from the power company to cook with. I NEED the water plant to purify and provide fresh water on tap. I NEED the sewage company to keep the blackwater flowing out.
I don’t want to NEED from this system anymore. That is why, after much contemplation, I want to start Homesteading. I’m not talking about full-on bunkers in the ground, MRE’s stashed away etc.
But more of a Permaculture approach; Get back to nature. Buy a nice patch of land with good access to water, then build my own micro-ecosystem with a garden and a small stock of livestock (chickens and rabbits).
I’m not trying for complete self reliance (yet) but at least enough to where as society decays in the coming decades, I can truly take the Carnage approach of NO F~~~S GIVEN and still have some fresh meat, veggies and fruits. Have a small solar array to power some of the more convenient electric devices.
I truly believe there is a way to live symbiotically within the natural world, to reap what you sow from the land. The first step is getting out of this consumer-whore lifestyle.
Have any of you come this far? Any recommendations? I no longer wish to be dependent on a system designed to extract it’s power from me. I no longer wish to be the host, the carcass being fed upon.

Anonymous14MgTower is already there I think, and I am on my way. Tower would have some insights into Permaculture. I know he has a great set up and grows much of his own food. I think he may hunt as well, not sure on how far he has taken the whole thing, would be interested to see him chime in here.
I am currently looking for a piece of property that I can start heading in this direction on. The goal being to rely on society less, not sure how far I will take it, but certainly will be moving in that direction.
A first step that many here have already taken is to disconnect from MSM and Hollywood to varying degrees. Many here refuse to pay for T.V. as well. Oh, also, many do not participate in Facebook/Twitter nonsense either.
I would like to grow veggies, berry bushes, have fruit trees, maybe some chickens for eggs… Selling at Farmers Markets would be a little money on the side as well. Already looking into a small solar set up with energy efficient items in the house… Anything I can do to play outside of the system is my goal at every turn at this point. May even ditch internet one day and go dark altogether. The plan there would be to just leech some library wifi or something if I ever really needed to research something or get online for some reason from time to time.

I look forward to hopefully hearing from MgTower, I think RangerOne? was also doing something similar. I’m fascinated with this lifestyle… I see Men who can work with nature and provide for themselves as damn near the epitome of the UberMensch. The Perfect Man. The One who does not need society.
I’ve finally taken the steps to control my libido, reject women entirely, I’ve been completely off of social media and MSM for years now and I’m no stranger to extreme hardships. I thrive in rough environments.
I truly wish to give society the empty stable it deserves. This plowhorse has fled the plantation indefinitely.

i wanna go off the drid too.
But im just 33 and post divorce, i need to gaing some money to buy some land in the caribean, cheap place, far away from city.
I got a good salary for spain, but thats it, trying to move to ireland, work my selft to nearly death 5 years and then scape the plantation for good.solar energy, dweel water, a wall around my property, poultry, pigs, goats, i should be off before 50. and after that i should be strong enough till 65-70… after tht who cares? after living 20 years like a real human been, any kind of death is worth it.
wold be great if we could take some of bill gates money, buy an island and create MGTOWLAND. Away from everything.
but the best i can do is put my own ass on cover
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.
To extreme for me, but Going YOUR OWN WAY means doing what works for YOU….
In a World of Justin Beibers Be a Johnny Cash
Sounds god you salve away at work to pay fo rthe bosses’s whore to hav a new handbag car holiday etc

That’s what I ultimately want to do as well. Become as self sufficient as possible. What you said is correct our society is totally corrupt and degenerate. I can’t stand the cities besides the few luxurys it may have. Most people are dirt bags it seems like anyways.
Please God smite the wicked now

Anonymous1Yup, I’m with you there. Going off the grid is certainly where I would like to be. I need to get a nice piece of property that would be good for farming. Put up some solar panels and maybe a wind mill too. I had an agricultural company at one point and it is surprising how much food you can produce on a couple acres of good tilled earth.
The biggest problem here in the USA is the property tax. If you live off the land you don’t need $$$ anymore. Everything you need is self produced. You still need to have money on hand to pay the Govt. or they will take your land away. That means getting a part time job in the MATRIX to pay these taxes.
It’s a sad state of affairs, but in the “Land of the Free” True Economic Independence is illegal. You don’t own land, you rent it from the Govt. Fail to pay your yearly rent and they take your land. We are now in the same situation as our Serf ancestors. We are not legally allowed to “own” land. Amazing, how quickly we lost our freedoms here in the USA. Income tax is another killer. The IRS will argue that your vegetables and chickens are a form of income and you will also have to pay $$$. They will always find a way to keep you in the MATRIX.

Ah, you’ve identified the Catch-22 as well. When I figured out that it’s IMPOSSIBLE in this country to stop owing money to various parasitic entities, regardless of if you have zero debt, house, cars, land, garden and livestock paid off, I fell into a depression for months. That was shortly after the divorce-raping, when I first had the idea to just go off-grid.
There are some ways you can prevent the big hand of government from stealing all of your bought and paid for property: Homesteading is one of them.
Property taxes are a state thing, not federal, so each state is different. Many DO have homesteading protection laws, however, and from my limited research so far there’s a certain acreage that they are not legally allowed to confiscate, regardless of inability to pay taxes and whatnot.
Of course, this gets into the “wonderful world of legaleze”, where you have to meet the state definition of “homestead” which I’m sure is vague as f~~~. Even if you DO meet it, I’m sure they will have an army of lawyers, funded by YOUR tax dollars, to try and take it anyways.
I’m not dead yet, however, so I’m still trying.
To add insult to injury: Most property taxes don’t even go to building roads, bridges or emergency services. They go to Public Schools.Yup, even if you’ve never had kids… The government WILL take everything you own. They got kidz to feeeeed!
Now I’d better get to work, the government has a gun to my head and will confiscate the small amount left that I still own, because I’m so “priveleged”.
Where I live, it’s impossible to go off the grid so I do what I can to go against the norm. Being MGTOW in itself is a giant FU to the system as is my refusal to be a consumer.
For those of you truly interested – and I mean truly interested – in removing yourself from the grid, let me recommend Five Acres and Independence by Maurice G. Kains. Kains was a well regarded agricultural consultant during the middle third of the last century and wrote many books covering different aspects of farm and nursery management.
Five Acres was published in 1935 at the behest of the Federal government as a way to both increase interest in small scale “truck” farming during the Depression and to help existing small farmers make better use of their land. The book went through something like 25 or 30 editions in ten years, was most recently revised in the mid-70s, and has never been out of print.
The book assumes the premise that you will for the most part feed yourself with the products of your five acres while also producing vegetables, fruits, and/or animals you can sell to buy what you can’t produce. Having that income will also cover property taxes.
The book begins with the topic every real book on land use begins with: LOCATION. Just what your small farm will produce and how well it will produce it depends entirely on the location you choose and the climate there.
The book is detailed, technical, and covers topics like drainage, trenching, poultry, hogs, root cellars, goats, orchards, bees, greenhouses, pruning, soil improvements, markets, and others too numerous to list. The book is also “pre-DDT” and so all the methods discussed are wholly organic.
I know a man who used it to set up a goat dairy. Along with selling milk, he makes artisanal cheeses in individual portions which he sells to restaurants in Boston for a nice chunk of change.
If you’re really and truly interested in this lifestyle, this is the book to start with.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Now THIS is the kind of info I’m looking for, Thanks OldBill!!

It’s a place to start, NE.
As you and the others have noted, you can’t really disengage completely from the grid. You’re going to need to pay property taxes and there are items you can’t make for yourself.
Kains’ book is a no nonsense guide to small farming. His advice is going to feed you and provide you with “cash crops” you can sell. He doesn’t focus solely on vegetables either. He covers orchards, nurseries, egg farms, goats, hogs, and the like. He writes a great deal about investigating all potential markets around you and cautions that the more specialized your operation is the more specialized the markets must be. For example, if you’re going to devote precious acreage to a cash crop like strawberries, there needs to be a corresponding demand for them.
The cheese maker I mentioned earlier not only already knew how to make cheese but had also worked as a chef in Boston and thus knew the very specialized market he was going to supply. He wasn’t some guy down at the JiffyLube who decided to open a goat dairy.
You can get other books which deal with building cabins, solar power systems, and the like. Kains’ book is all about making your five acres economically viable.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
I have gone to a minimalist lifestyle. Keeping interactions with society as un noticeable as possible. Changing some of the ways I do things like in cooking. Dutch oven and open fire. The basics bulk style foods, almost like you hear some of these preppers doing. Going to start some making things like these.

Yes, but I’m sure he knew how to jump through all the USDA and FDA requirements though, most DIY people wouldn’t. The dairy farms here in my area are all gone now. Federal Inspectors saw to that. Showing up and wasting hours of time. Demanding special facilities be installed just for the inspectors, in case they decided to show up. I talked with a few old farmers, who lost everything. One of them gave a bit of sass talk to the inspector. Then the inspector started showing up every single day until the farmer was put under. These people are ruthless and small town Farmers are the enemy.
I’ve met Amish Folks, who were busted for selling Canned Goods without the proper licenses from State and Federal Gov. If you want to sell Milk in this country you’d better be sure it’s not Raw, that will get you a SWAT Team Raid. No Jokes, the USDA does this to small town farmers. I’ve known people, who got busted by undercover agents for selling Raw Milk. That is the big Elephant in the Room with this topic. The old self-sufficient farmer’s way of life has now been outlawed. Even collecting Rain Water is illegal now!
I finally closed my Ag. company when the Inspector required an Inspection. No kidding, the Inspector needed to have another Inspector come out and Inspect the Inspector! That’s it, I’m done. This is what our tax money goes to.

They drew first blood back in the days when my dinner said Girber on the jar!
But what all have You done to detach from the Matrix? To starve out this cancer?
I didn’t “attack” anything. The size and scope of government hive has intruded and treads on our natural rights. They’ve managed the country like a 12 year old school girl on crack and I’m the one paying the price which in turn lowers the standard of living.
All the nation’s ailments are attributed to government expansion and criminal mismanagement. Every dollar they spend is one less dollar for the invisible free market system. One must use these dollars wisely now for self preservation. Most my life’s savings are being consumed by over taxation by gross and negligent over assessments on actual real estate value, thereby destroying the marketability and holding the tax demand as ransom.
I plan to burn everything to a cinder once the profit margin is consumed in tax default.
Liberal Municipalities are loosing their tax base due to abandonment issues like mine and countless vacant properties where they choke the average citizen out of existence and gain another abandoned worthless liability.
I’m sticking it up their ass just as far as they’re sticking it up mine! Only because I’m backed in the corner they created as they go into debt and promising my property for collateral through excessive taxation.
They’re liberal fools taxing everything into forfeiture and abandonment.
I wish I bought gold and silver, I’d be a millionaire! That’s how much the economy disinterested! Money became WORTHLESS thanks to the fiat system of management! They’re f~~~ing nuts if they think I’m gonna sell it for s~~~ and fork over all the back-stab taxes! I’m jamming a f~~~ing stick in the spokes of their filthy revenue machine! These motherf~~~ers are going over the handlebars!
Venezuela is the perfect model for our future. NFG.
Right now, I NEED the grocery store for food. I NEED electricity from the power company to cook with. I NEED the water plant to purify and provide fresh water on tap. I NEED the sewage company to keep the blackwater flowing out.
Same here brother because it’s totally advantageous! However, I will turn to cin-gas hydrogen production the day they destroy fuel availability too. I’m burning wood, plastic, and motor-oil to offset my fuel oil consumption and then use those dollar savings wisely. I’m considering filling my 550gal. diesel tank again before the fuel goes up (to match all the other fiat dollar inflation).
MgTower is already there I think, and I am on my way. Tower would have some insights into Permaculture. I know he has a great set up and grows much of his own food. I think he may hunt as well, not sure on how far he has taken the whole thing, would be interested to see him chime in here.
This year I’ve devoted more time to making moola and letting the food rot on the vine rather than loosing the money as time is money, this winter I’ll have plenty of time for food processing but no food to process.
This lifestyle was thrust upon me from the country’s 2nd GREAT DEPRESSION and never to recover again as free market principles are being smothered by the molesting hands of government, their hidden expenses, and their excessive overreach.
They are treading on the constitution and bill of rights.
They are an abomination to the spirit of the revolutionary war that was supposed to end this exact kind of government overreach on an individual’s natural rights and the blessing of life, liberty, and happiness!
I’m definitely grabbing a traffic cone I have in Vermont and using it to slaughter the turkeys! I look at them the same way I do chickens, little raptors with no personality that would pluck out your eyes and eat them if you’re dead! Why the traffic cone? You stick them in it up side down with their head sticking through the hole, then cut their neck with a razor blade, they don’t even feel it and no major bruises to the meat. I’m told dark meat is the bruised meat. I gotta go get my chest freezer I lent out, that’s how much food I can produce, if not more. I also planted two more peach trees and really need to set up an outdoor food processing wagon with a bunch of stainless steel restaurant stuff I have. Some call it junk, but with my skills it’s an outdoor food processing facility right on site!
I do what I do because I have to, not because I want to! We’re all in the same boat living under a governing body filled to the brim with liars, cheaters and thieves!
Ring around the rosy, pocket full of posies, ashes ashes, we all fall down…

Anonymous1Yup, +1 to everything Tower said. Right on Brother!
I have a nephew that favors a consumption tax. I suppose that would be more along the lines of what you guys are talking about.
With a consumption tax and less property tax a self sustaining renewable farm would be possible.
