    It probably performs OK, but this reviewer is right.

    The problem isn’t really the bike in itself. The problem is the pretentious, poseurish, and largely ignorant marketing Triumph is trying to sell it with.

    Put simply, it’s not really a bobber. Triumph is just calling it that to sell it to people who don’t know any better.

    Yes. This guy actually rides a Triumph Speed Triple (along with a few other bikes), so he’s a Triumph fan.
