Travor Noah shared his thoughts on racial profiling in America and said he believes police training in the U.S. creates “state racism” during Tuesday night’s episode of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show.
In a clip posted Tuesday, the Daily Show host discussed the fatal police-involved shooting of Philando Castile by a Minnesota police officer last summer.

“The conversation gets caught up in racism as it pertains to black and white but I don’t believe that that is the conversation,” Noah told the studio audience. “I believe that the police force as a whole is trained in such a way that it creates state racism that is different.”

Noah, who was born in South Africa and moved to the U.S. six years ago, says he has been pulled over by police “at least eight to 10 times.”

I wish social justice warriors would shut the hell up. Thoughts??

Yeah Trevor. I’m a white South African and have also been pulled over by the cops. Funny thing is everytime it was my fault.

    Peace is > piece.

Traffic tickets are about revenue not safety. Doesn’t matter who or what you are. They just want your money. Profiling exists but not as much as they want you to think.

    Funny you should say that.
I can be mistaken for White, Aboriginal, Latino, or Middle Eastern depending on the person viewing me.
There are only a few factors involved each and every time I have every been pulled over.
    1. I was actually at fault for doing something wrong and drew police attention.
    2. Random check stop for drunk drivers.
    3. I am a man driving alone.
    4. Crossing the Canada/USA border

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

    1. He doesn’t define what he means by racism.

    2. He doesn’t identify what type of training that he’s referring to that would cause this.

    3. He says that he was pulled over in a Tesla and then repeats himself as if the kind of car that he’s driving is exempt from getting pulled over.

    4. He seems to have a number in mind for “too many pull overs” but doesn’t revel said number.

    5. He either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that police departments keep records of the demographics of who they pull over.

    6. He seems to not realize that repeating a lie enough times still doesn’t make it true, even if more people believe it.

    7. He never acknowledges white people getting pulled over. That’s curious.
