Travel Advice For Brazil

Guys,

I really need some objective advice and I thought this may be the best place to get some clarity and no BS.

Anyway, i am due to go to Brazil January next year for Carnival and I am going with a mate, or so i think, who is not long divorced but has this unending obsession with the whole PUA scene. His life revolves around Tinder hookups and even lately screwing married women.

I am at a real impasse now of whether to go or not? I have paid for accommodation (not a great loss) but the whole agenda is about him trying to hook up with as many women as possible and act like a horny teenager, in fact that’s all he is talking about and he is in his late 30’s. Me on the other hand, i’m just happy to sit on the beach, chill out with a beer and not really give a f~~~. Getting laid by a Brazilian girl is not that hard and I have zero interest in chasing. That said he is from a European back ground that plans EVERY last detail and seems very controlling to me. My nationality is very laid back, we’ll sort it out when we are there. 90% of me is saying just don’t go.

Suggestions?

I guess it would depend on how, when, and where your friend wants to pick up women. Also, does he want you to help him.

Also, last I read, Brazil has having a bad drought, and some of the cities on the coast have horrible garbage and pollution in the beaches and shore. Do not swim in the water off right the coast.

I don’t know if he wants my help or to act as a wingman. It just seems for the last 12 months all he ever talks about and obsesses over is sleeping with women and the endless discussions about “his game.” Im finding it quite annoying now!

He has said regularly “Deep, you seem to have a problem with women and it comes off as hate.” I said “No, i don’t hate women, in fact I love women but i have recognised the game and I refuse to play anymore. Women get annoyed with me because I call them on their BS and cannot control me. You cannot tame a mustang.”

He then went on to say “Well you game is the bad boy image then.” I said “No mate, im a 40yo guy that doesnt give a f~~~ anymore and i am living my life and striving to reach my goals. If i meet an amazing girl for some great times, wonderful, but as far as pursuing thema nd playing this BS PUA games you have involved yourself with, I am out.”

Now I have never understood or participated in this PUA culture. To me it is a bunch of insecure t~~~s who put on a show.

Travelling to Brazil for me would be about chilling out, exploring, eating and drinking and photography. But, he is one of these guys who will totally f~~~ the plans up once you are there to do what he wants to do. One of THE most bizarre things he said to me was this “Deep, I want your body shredded for Brazil to attract the ladies.” Seriously? Seriously, what f~~~ing man says s~~~ like this (shallow)? Definite first for me!

For a while my mid 20ies up and til 30ies age i got laid like a shrew and while not i smacked the table as if i was alone in jail or something, u understand what i mean. It was all asses and t~~~ and necks and all them beauty zones flickering in my head, and more wasnt enough with it. If this guy say he don’t hate women yet wanna get laid with as many as he can simply for loving sex…Is all cool, there are plenty of girls loving sex. what is the problem then. Sounds like he got self esteem issues to me. Or it could be MGTOW complex.. MGTOW does’nt mean we are robots, it’s the other way around. If he a pickup artist. then so be it. My sisters have ran into one PUA after another and they’ve been pretty angered at all males for that, letting rage off onto their big brother when becoming aware that some males are having a will of his own; “all males are f~~~ed in their heads” She says. LOL

Regarding girls and the whole timetabIe of developments in relations i used to say about myself that i am a bit of a cowboy when those things are about…Now i know better, i’m simply born with a strong will of my own. regardless of what anyone say about my motorbike, my clothes, what to think or why i wanna do somehting by myself. Im born free and wisdom made me MGTOW.

What post are you staying in? Ipanema? Copacabana? I have stayed at both. You already get your sambodromo tickets as well? Section 12/13 are cheapest. Bring ear plugs lol it’s crazy.

Duration of trip?

Loved Brazil myself. Make sure to do a sugarloaf hike, tour the favelas, go to Joabim Botanico, CtR, etc.

* Is there an alternative where you will have a better time?

After all, this is a vacation for you (I presume) and having a good time is your main object.

this guy is an insecure PUA wannabe. I contacted him and cancelled my trip. Seriously, all this BS before a vacation is simply not worth it. Plus he is a German, every f~~~ing thing MUST be planned. Stuff that, i cannot be bothered!
