Toxic Politics

I’ve decided to make a late New Year’s resolution. It’s simple. Avoid as much exposure to mainstream political issues as possible. I can’t even watch TV without becoming enraged and almost physically ill when it comes to news and commercials. I just want to take a sledge hammer to the damn thing. Nothing changes and nothing is unexpected. It’s a futile practice in masochism and it does nothing for one’s stress levels and overall health. Feminism will never change and their complaints and grievances are all cookie cutter and predictable. There is no purpose behind engaging them in any shape or form, nor getting upset at what they do. Might as well get upset every time a dog p~~~es on a fire hydrant or chases a car, it’s equally as pointless and banal.

The same goes for mainstream pop culture and other trivial/superficial subjects. Stardusk put out a recent video about social niceties and how most of our interactions with strangers or people we don’t really like is just a big lie. It’s 100% true. We fake most of our interactions with people to get along and it’s just more of a reason to do our own thing on our own and not waste a single breath on people that don’t matter to us. I’m going to strive to let the people who try to interact with me that I have no interest in know that I couldn’t give a f~~~ less and they should just f~~~ off as soon as humanly possible.

Time to become an unapologetic asshole.
