DocDJ raises an interesting point and one I’ve not addressed nor has anyone else—to wit WHY must we accommodate and appease anyone/everyone who claims to be offended? Can’t they live with being offended?

Okay, so they don’t want to remember that dark period of American history… sure will be hard to remember those who died to free the slaves without talking about who they were fighting. But they have no problem with the African American civil war memorial.. course that does talk about union troops.

Course history is just a nusasnce to people trying to push an agenda. Hell I’d love to display that stained glass window, as it is really well done. That’s just how it was back then. Judging the past by the current is a great way to f~~~ up the past, present, and future (if there is one).

Wonder if the next stop will be flattening the civil war memorial or the WW2 memorial on the Washington mall. Sure that has to offend someone. Or what about Arlington cemetery, sure all those dead mainly white men must offend someone. And if not that all the white crosses, got forbid they are painted white. God damn these snowflakes are worse than the atheists that complain about crosses along the highway where people died.

We may soon reach a point where knowledge of the civil war is not taught and will be actively sought out for destruction. Shame the land of the free is afraid of a little history. Does explain the need to stifle freedom of speech, as feelings can’t stand up to fact and history.

Guess I may need to make a stop and get another physical copy of a civil war history book. Before it is illegal to do so. It’s one thing for the winner to write it, it’s completely different for the winners great great descendents to be erasing it. Or should i call them the great great whiners… History is always written by the winner as the loser isn’t usually around to write much.. after the fact.

A lot of people don’t know this but throughout Germany one way holocaust victims are memorialized is with paving bricks with their names on it. how long do you suppose its going to be before our members in the “religion of peace” begin tearing these up out of the ground.
