What I would be worried about is this:

THIS is problem right now. This was a straight up “prank” that got a man killed. It seems the best thing to do is to have video cameras outside your house. and an intercom system to answer the door. (Bullet proof glass would not be a bad idea. )

Living far away and in a small town seems like a better idea. Having the swat team show up at your house trigger happy, or send drugs to your house is a problem.

There was an instance of cops not wanting to serve DV orders in wooded parts of washington by Gig Harbor due to a some very talented people up there setting up so many Booby traps, the cops got hurt, but it was of Natural Dangers.. So nothing so obvious as traps.

Then when they tried to pull some bulls~~~, they got shot at from RANDOM people. The thing was, OUTSIDERS were NEVER WELCOME.
