Hi guys. I want to talk about something that has become a problem in the rest of the manosphere … though this site has been mostly unaffected.
Lately, I’ve noticed that a lot of anti-feminists have been lashing out at porn in some fallacious ways. Here are some of the arguments that they use, along with my rebuttals.
“God doesn’t want you to look at porn.”
Prove it.“Porn leads to impotence.”
I’ve been looking at porn for a long time now. I have had no problems with impotence. If you can’t get hard for a chick, you probably aren’t really attracted to her. Just pick someone else.“If you look at porn, you will just keep searching for more f~~~ed-up s~~~.”
Watching porn does not make you lose your self-control.“Looking at porn will turn you gay.”
If porn “turns you gay”, that means you were gay all along.“We need to go out and interact with real women so that we can show them their place.”
It’s already too late for that. Modern women are too far gone.Overall, most of the people in this anti-porn crusade give off a tradcon vibe. They think that we need to bring back tradcon values in order to defeat feminism. In reality, tradcon values cannot defeat feminism. They didn’t win the last time.
Our world is teetering on the brink of disaster … several disasters. We are currently staring into the face of three upcoming disasters: Nuclear War, Climate Change and Demographic Winter. If two of them do not destroy the modern world, the last one will. If we don’t blow ourselves up, we might loose our crops to unpredictable environmental changes. If that doesn’t happen, global feminism will reduce the population of the earth until the total human population is less than 100,000.
In the first two scenarios, technology will be stripped away from us and we will be forced to live in a wasteland. In the final scenario, we will lose our freedoms and nature will be the only escape from the long arm of the law.
Soooo … what should we be doing? I have some suggestions.
– Forget all that crap about manipulating women. They’re too far gone at this point.
– Read about zoology extensively. Those “trivial” animal facts will soon be useful information. Read about evolution, the food web, and the water cycle. All of those things shall be useful info.
– Avoid activities which could cause permanent physical injury. We are about to enter a world without modern medicine.
– Create a stockpile of non-perishable food.
– Lifting is optional. We will soon be forced into the wild. Out there, exercise is a part of everyday life.
– Remember that your pick-up skills will not matter in the long run. Soon, women will want to f~~~ the man who can provide her with the most red meat.
– Remember that all of your electronics will be stripped away from you in due time. Enjoy them while they last. You may never see your favorite pornographic video ever again. Just saying.Indulge. Indulge like it’s going out of style … because it is.

If you watch porn all day and masturbate until your penis falls off, yeah that’s no good. But still, the fault doesn’t lie with porn, it’s what you do with it. (I want to add there is nothing wrong if that’s what you want to do, but remember, you have to deal with the consequences yourself)
Like water for example. I give you 5 gallons of water. You try to drink it all in one sitting and drink yourself to death. Is water bad now?
Those anti-feminist “arguments” are nothing but nonsense.
I agree 100%, I have never heard a quality argument against porn. And you are absolutely dead on about the tradcon thing. They believe they can change women. They fail to understand that the world is not going to change for them, that’s simply not how we evolve. We must adapt if we want to survive.

It is not about impressing others, nor about theredpill, it is about a personal way of living.There is only one way to see what effect porn has on you, and what effect avoiding porn has on you, and that is to stop watching it. It is freaking difficult, porn is a lot like a lover that gives you sex whenever you want, you are hooked. It requires no effort, it is available to anyone.
Do not believe everything that people say about porn. Just ask yourself if you can live without it, if the answer is yes(and you can actually live months without it), then porn is not that much important, if the answer is no and after abstaining 3 days you crave porn, then you may have a problem(ever happened to have problems with things that suck up all your time/health? then you know what I am talking about).Being pro-porn or anti-porn is f~~~ing dumb, as it is being pro-meat or anti-meat, pro-alcohol or anti-alcohol.
Just focus on yourself, personally I want to be a man that do not watch porn(my life, my choise), I feel better without it. But I do not force my vision and my commitment on others, as others should not do that with me. If you want to jerk off to porn for all your life, just go on, you are the master of yourself.
I am not against porn.
Porn sites are another matter. There are too many stories of malware and identity theft for me to log on to one of them.
All my porn is in my mind, which so far “they” can’t access.

I would put it to anyone that the affect on the brain is the same as when a man is aroused in the presence of an actual woman. Are men not designed to have sex with women? Of course we are. The whole anti-porn argument is daft.
There’s an alternative agenda and it seems to be that women are threatened by porn. They believe it’s a threat to the power and maybe it is, I don’t know, I think it’s funny and I will continue to watch porn.
Porn makes men continue to see women as sparkling objects of desire and for that reason alone, men should stop consuming it.
Here’s the fundamental question. Do you believe that observing images and video of sexually desirable women a) relieves your desire to have sex with women or b) increases your desire to have sex with women?
Now replace the word “woman” with “children” and tell me how you feel about the statement. To make the argument that porn is a safety valve that lessens a man’s desire for sex with women is to make the same argument that kiddie porn lessons a pedo’s desire for sex with children.
To my mind, both of them are poison. Ingesting poison every day doesn’t make you immmune, it slowly kills you. By hanging on to porn you hang on to attachment of an image of women that does not serve your interests and can do you real psychological damage.

We’re not discussing child porn and I don’t consider the 2 comparable. It’s not natural to be attracted to children but it is natural to be attracted to a sexually mature adult.

I’m not sure about that at all. They are certainly been treated as objects in some of the porn I’ve watched in my time.

I agree with this completely. I even agree with the children example, consuming porn just increases the sexual drive.

What I think its important here is that A MAN DOES WHAT THE HELL HE WANTS AND NEEDS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR IT EXCEPT HIS WANTING!

What I think is usefull to take from this thread is that we should be aware of what we are doing. We swould know the consequences.

Lets get the pedo allusion you made out of the way. Pedo porn involves the harming (both psychological, emotional and physical) of a child. Consuming (using) such porn means you are participating in said harming of children because if you as the consumer did not provide the market it would not be produced. IMO, any user or producer of pedo porn should be skinned with a dull knife. If I ever caught someone sexually abusing a child I would shoot them dead on the spot. No discussion, just dead.
Back to the Anti-Porn discussion….
I could easily break one off just remembering some of the ass slapping sex I had in my younger days with consenting adult women. I still like the adult female form and am still friends with a few women. I’m just not going to take that friendship further because the related emotional baggage that comes with them. Breaking one off with porn or without, clears out the hormonal clutter and refocuses my attention from the idea of woman to other pursuits I enjoy.Porn lets men enjoy the visual form of adult women. I am sorry for jumping in before Son of R’lyeh, but I dont think his example intended to equate porn with pedophilia. If it where, it would just be another manipulation and shamming technique.
His point, from what I understand, is that you cannot reduce an addiction by supplying the object of addiction.A drug addict will not be cured by free access to drugs. An alcoholic will not reduce its dependency with lots of booze.
And I am not equating porn to drugs and booze 🙂
I am just saying that our sex drive is “inflamed”. Nowhere in nature animals behave like we do. When in heat the females send signals to males, and THEN they get interested.

I lived in LA for 30 years and knew people in all aspects of the porn industry. My take on the actresses is that they had minor emotional problems but that they were smarter than your average girl and have way more disposable income.

‘Demographic winter’: People are having fewer children in the developed world for many reasons. One is simple economics — children are not as affordable for a complex set of reasons. Part of that is US; we expect more s~~~; fancy houses, a new car every four years. So we choose that chit over kids. Birth control is another factor. So too is women waiting; men may decide they don’t want to marry a 40-year old snowflake with $100,000 of student loans to cap off their own $100,000 of student loans so they can avoid a $200,000 mortgage and Corporate Plantation slavery working until 70 to pay for that $400,000 debt plus the $250,000 plus to raise each ‘planned and wanted’ child. Sorry, I’m cynical this morning! Blaming all these factors on ‘feminism’ is a bit simplistic. But hypergamy certainly DOES play a role; the 40-year old snowflake with $100,000 of debt, isn’t going to marry the clerk from the grocery store if he makes less than her or is at a lower social strata; so the 666 (6 ft tall, 6 figure income, 6 pack abs) ‘man drought’ does play a role too. When use the toilet to satiate the desire to pee and/or poop. We use the cooking utensils (or pay others to do it) to satiate our desire for food and beverage consumption. Similarly, one can use pornography and/or masturbation to satiate their desire to have sex.
Pornography is like cooking utensils and toilets – They are tools. Tradcons are just upset about pornography because they fanatically believe in pursuing a far more costly and risky method to satiate their sex drives while we do not. Seriously though. I think back to KMs taking a p~~~ analogy. If I’m using porn, it’s because I need to get a load off of my mind. I literally can’t think right when I just need to nut. Anybody who says that I shouldn’t is the same kind of enemy as I seek to destroy, which is anybody who wants to control me.
It’s the reason this is the ONLY place I come for any kind of manly advice. Too many tradcucks, purple pill PUAs, and straight up women in any other part of the manosphere.
This is the only place where MEN will tell you straight up what’s best for you. All others are to be subjected to a sideways glance, and told to promptly go f~~~ themselves when they offer advice that goes against my gut.
