To Jimmy ! The best boss a kid could have.

I grew up and cut my teeth at my first real job. I was a busboy, and I have to admit, it was great. I worked all summer and even during school. back then, I rode my bike everywhere. It was an amazing life. But the lessons I was given, I was too
young to understand them.

My boss back then was a Short Greek man. And boy, was he some kind of fellow. He was ALL from the old school. A self built man.
Years latter, he looked almost the same. But you know time has a way on men. But he was still the grand proud man he ever was.

My god, it sure changed a small bit over the years. But overall it was still the same on for much of it. The colors are a bit different, and the island was taken out, but all else was still there.

Now that he has passed away, and this is only going to really be known to us, He told me quite possibly the best advice, I never listened to. “Go out have dates, but don’t have sex. Just Masturbate..WAIT TILL YOU ARE 35 TO GET MARRIED”

This sole piece of advice is what your father would give you. And Jimmy, he helped raise a whole generation of kids in his restaurant.

I have no doubt that if it did not close, he would still be alive today. But alas, we have to build more apartments. So he sold the land, and now they are building a Nice apartment there where one of the most nicest buildings and restaurants ever stood.

It has this sign that just said happy times.

And of course, you are looking at a man that quite possibly could wallpaper the place in money and still have some for the parking lot. But here he is.

Its was always great coming to work their. And the place was always so ..I don’t know. Felt like home.

It’s also the first bar I ever sat in. Yup. Prime old age of 14!

Man, how cool it was. I was sitting in the bar eating my food. watching TV, and could not wait to start my life. I was so full of hope back then. So many good things were going on.

Way back then, their were houses that on the side. These were torn down one day. Its cool. He owned all the property around it too. 🙂

But here it is. The best part of my teenage years. All that is left. And now even the man is gone that was the closest thing I think I have ever had to a father.

I will really miss you.

If I had listened, I could have damn near bought the place stone by stone brick by brick and moved it or kept it. But I Spent my time thinking hat love and a girl was the way.

I was so wrong.

Although Carnage is a complete asshole, he do have a point: When you have nothing else to lose, you are completely free.
Free from the shackles and boundaries that defined your life for so long.

I mourn for the memory of guys like your Jimmy, Mick. Those are men that history will never know about, and yet, have changed the surrounding world that they lived in. To me, those are the greatest men to ever live. Shadows in the machine, which with a few words and a s~~~ ton of examples, became the example of good behavior from other men around him.

It is sad to see his legacy being torned apart. But, his legacy still lives, through many men that he changed their lives, just like you, Mick.
I can safely bet that if I asked him, he would say that the restaurant do not matter. But guys like you, do. This is his true legacy.
Mourn, my brother. For this pain is truly like if you lost your own father.

It is important to look back and reajust our minds to what we have learned and still learn from . Remember the common theme MOVE ON .

We can look back at bad times . But think about this . Those times although significant we choose to make the time of that event much bigger .

But yet the good times people seem to like to forget , like they never had them . F~~~ i had a ball .

So thankfull for f~~~ed up s~~~ . At 15 i had my own place in modern apartment block with pool . Loose s~~~ . I use to train like f~~~ as well . Friday night and Saturday just cut loose .

Mmm known a few greeks in my day . Good guys . But i did hit a bump once , misunderstanding but then years later that person f~~~ed with my bro . Time has passed . Funny we were friends as kids and i would probably shake the c~~~s hand today . It was me that set his path . Wanted to do what i did so he joined . Drums f~~~ed if i could tap anything out . Good friends of his were at my kids christenings . Yep good people . Had alot of italian friends in life . F~~~ they love that name joe . Lol .

Oh oh dog f~~~er story guys check this s~~~ . Back around 15 a mate of mine was good at ” FINDING ” things . She did kids shows Jackie………. We got two beta cassettes with her f~~~ing dogs . One they had a silk curtain in the vid . A few people new thats why she vanished along with the others in that industry at the time . F~~~ i cant remember the type of dogs . The bed to was big all covered in nice silk . See msm pieces of s~~~ .f~~~ you mother f~~~ers .

I had two door cars . First 4 door i owned i was like 24 .

I find it difficult to shop , even getting milk and bread . I kind of have to prepare myself to be around lots of people . A few weeks ago i was in doing some shopping and there was like 4 land whales with arse and manginas blocking s~~~ . I snapped and picked the shallow trolley up and barged the f~~~ thru . F~~~ them hope they get eaten buy sharks or get a flesh eating bacteria. Holiday c~~~s just here f~~~ing s~~~ up with there s~~~ rude attitudes . Our part of town was labbelled as red necks . Yuppies are moving in and f~~~ing s~~~ .
