s~~~ is hitting the fan brothers, with inflation and prices shooting up stores are starting to cater more to women because they are the big spenders while putting men’s stuff on the back corner of the stores.

Target does it, you have to walk quite a bit to get to the men’s section for clothes, but TJ MAxx kept it gender neutral at the front of the store and had a decent men’s section, now we are seeing real change in dynamics because this only means that stores are preparing for if war breaks out and all the men are sent to war. That’s my opinion anyways since more and more stores are doing this.

Sewing isn’t that hard, maybe I’ll get an industrial machine and make my own tailored patterns to fit like a glove! I’m not afraid to do things for myself! I make patterns for sheetmetal, just these patterns will be made to fit myself!

Next thing you know the men’s department is gonna be on the sidewalk outside, or at the far end of the parking lot out of women’s way!

I can sew better than most of the women I know… I had to show my ex-wife how to thread the bobbin on “her” sewing machine! I’m still on the lookout for a used industrial machine that can handle leather and Cordura, though.

My Janome HD1000 does a good job with making grill covers and tarps. It’s not super heavy duty, but I can sew though stacks of denim. . I made a friend a tactical kilt for his competition pistol shooting. I sewed in 5 inches Molle webbing in the belt area all the the way around. Even 5.11 had nothing this cool. If you want cheep big cloth to test with, I use a drop cloth I buy from Home Depot.

Costco has cheap jeans and the local ranch supply has a great deal on Carhartt shirts if you buy a dozen at once. I just found a close Cycle Gear for a new armored jacket. Everything else is bespoke.
