I’ll be starting my first semester in college this Fall, and I am looking at quite a hefty bill for my education, even with all the money I’m receiving as support. Any tips for how to earn around 15K each school year? I’ll probably be giving blood plasma every week to get extra cash, and I might even try selling bone marrow (I hear that can net you a few thousand bucks and it grows back!) I’ll probably even grow my hair really long so I can sell that. On top of this, I’ll be working a part time job. I really want to volunteer as a police officer part time, but I don’t know if I’ll have time for that with how busy I’ll be. If anyone knows any good ways to pay my way through college, I could really use some help!

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: I’ve been applying for scholarships and haven’t won any, so yeah. That seems to be a waste of time.

The US Military has some great programs to pay for your education and you can learn a back up skill.

If I could do it over that is what I would do. Contact The Keymaster and he can give you the names of some of our Veterans.

My advice is a college degree is nice, but make sure you have a back up plan, a skill, a minor in a different field. A plan B.

don’t spend a cent on girls….buy food in bulk and cook for yourself.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

There is plenty of good advice in the previous posts. Let me add: Avoid student loans. Avoid, as in do not take out a student loan.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

    Thanks, guys!

Unfortunately, my career field will require a Bachelor’s degree, and so I’ll be spending around 4 years at a pretty nice Christian school.

There is plenty of good advice in the previous posts. Let me add: Avoid student loans. Avoid, as in do not take out a student loan.

This is the frustrating part for me. I really want to go to this college, but it looks like I will have to take out student loans. I know I can pay them off really quickly afterwards, but I still hate debt. I know, however, that I will never again get as much financial aid as these schools are offering (I’ve been offered more than $40,000 a year by some schools). I refuse to live at my parents’ house any longer than necessary, and my mom has put in a lot of work to help me get as much financial aid as possible (I’m very grateful for that), so I feel like I have a choice between taking on around 20K in debt over four years or not going to this really nice college.

You could go to a local community college for two years, get an associates, then transfer to the 4 year school. Its a great strategy for getting all your general education requirements done, like English, math, and basic science courses that will be the same anywhere you go anyhow, plus you’ll end up with two degrees so you’ll look more badass on a resume.

Or you could just commute to school part time and work full time. You might even be able to have a few semesters where you can pack all your courses into two days, or two days and a night class on a third day or something, and you’ll still be able to pull off a full course load and work full time. It also depends on how tough your classes are that semester…it might not always be a great idea to try that lol.

Basically how much fun you have in your college years is going to be directly proportional to how much debt you end up with. Living on campus is generally the s~~~tiest possible choice you could make financially.

I managed through my schooling i managed to get a work placement position in a government office working in IT services. Later on in my schooling, I received a phone call (on a Friday i think) and was asked to come back into work on Monday at my placement.

I ended up making enough money to pay off my entire college costs off completely!

Don’t pay it off slowly pay of big amounts of the debt at once, the less you pay monthly, the more year’s they’ll feed off of you like a parasite.

Always be conservative this society is f~~~ed right now for people who go to post secondary and if you aren’t careful you can be ruined. Stay away from clubs, go to house parties and school parties that are free entry and that you can get you’re own alcohol. Don’t eat out, learn how to cook and have leftovers for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Don’t go to university for a social science, they are literally worthless in today’s society. Business, science, math, engineering, economics or marketing I’d strongly recommend.

I’ll sound biased since I served in the military. If you truly want to get a decent education and pay zero dollars and zero cents, go with the US Military. I’ll give you the good the bad and the ugly.

    The good:
-You will learn a skill that could be useful in the civilian world.
-You will have tuition assistance which is separate from the GI Bill. If you play your Cards right, you can finish an undergraduate program then use the GI bill for a graduate program.
-You will gain work and leadership experience.
    -You will see the world.

    The bad:
    -You will work s~~~ty hours
-You will spend a lot of time being uncomfortable. Accept this fact and dependent of the organization.
-You might not get the job you want, do well on your tests (ASVAB).

    The ugly
-You will be a target for terrorism.
-You will be a target for predatory loan sharks, harpies (future dependent AKA women who want a simp for benefits), and other organizations that want to sell you s~~~.
-You could die in some far off land.

My advice, if you go to the military, have a plan. Do not deviate from it. Use the tuition assistance as soon as you hit the fleet. GIVE YOURSELF GOALS AND TIMELINES. Four year pass by quickly. I’ve known plenty who spend 4-8-12-20 years and got out with no real skills. You are in charge of your destiny.

If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.

Whoops, looks like I totally forgot about this thread awhile back. Something must have come up. Anyways, thank you for all your responses.

Masculine_Man, I tried to join the military. I went to the Army, Navy, and Marines, and because of a medical condition (moderate food allergy), I could not get in. I know I could have done it, as I’ve done outdoor activities (I love to hike, and I’ve never had any medical problems as long as I avoid the food I’m allergic to).

As far as going to a four-year community college, I won’t be doing that as it would require me to live at home longer, and in my mind, I year or two’s worth of debt that I should easily be able to pay off is a fair trade for being independent.

I will likely be forced to live on-campus for the first year, but after that, I plan to move out ASAP.

Also, I plan on avoiding parties altogether, as I don’t really like them anyways.

Does anyone know any good scholarships?

There’s an app called Scholly, that helps you find scholarships tailored to your needs. I think its 99 cents.. Maybe you’d like to look into it.

Respectfully, i do not understand why would anyone in their right mind go to college. Specifically, i understand academic sciences, like physics and mathematics, biology and astrophysics, and so on. The university level academics. But college ? Why ? What for? To be a f~~~ing slave to banking system ? To waste years of your life in a classroom to do a useless job to feed your wife ? Do women studies ? WTF? Are you even MGTOW ? F~~~ college. F~~~ politicians, f~~~ governments, f~~~ nations, f~~~ ethics, morality and society. Get your gun, and live to your heart content, off the land. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OR SOCIETY. F~~~ THEM ALL. If you participate in college system, short of academic sciences, you are participating in your ow n slavery and enslavement.

With regards of academic sciences, you are living in the 21st century. Modern telecommunications technologies; the internet and the older but no less reliable data recording technologies, such as books, are widely available. Short of theoretical sciences, you can learn anything without ever setting foot into any college. Think bigger, think like a free man!

Dude, knowledge is awesome, and the university I plan to attend has a large number of people who have respect for other opinions. As a Christian college, it doesn’t have the SJW problems that other colleges have, and it’s rather prestigious in regards to its academics. While I see where you’re coming from with the whole “slave to the banking system” line, I would say that “the borrower is slave to the lender” no matter what. The fact is, however, that my career field has many opportunities, especially in government work, which pay rather well. If I live frugally, I should be able to pay off my debts within five years, give or take. Especially if I get married. Also, this college has no required women’s studies, and in fact, I can hardly find any courses that I don’t look forward to taking for their educational value.

I’m going to college to gain skills and connections which I wouldn’t otherwise be able to acquire, so that I can have the career and lifestyle that I want. The question for each individual person is this: to what degree is he willing to be enslaved? Some choose the whole shebang, with marriage, debt, children, social expectations, and a stressful career. Others choose to, as you said, get their gun and live off the land to their hearts’ content. I am somewhere in the middle. This is simply me betting that my temporary debt will lead to greater freedom. I don’t want to simply live off the land; although it might be fun for a short while, I still want to do good in this world. For that, I need skills.

TL;DR: I see where you’re coming from, but I have thought this out and come to my own conclusion, which I hope you can understand.

Personally, I earned my degree and amassed a s~~~ load of debt which means absolutely nothing to me because I realize that all US currency is fiat therefore stealing from thieves nullifies any moral responsibility since the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913. Thank President Woodrow Wilson. When I was born in 1982 America had no national debt so the lost word “No” was forgotten by the baby boomers. They got drunk and their grandchildren will now feel the hangover. Get as offended as you like, its the truth and WOMAN and White knights hold a great deal of culpability. It’s only about 90$ a month and that’s for a bachelor’s degree. I own a lot of tangible wealth, GOLD and SILVER, and Sell Drugs!!! NJ is F~~~ED UP!!!
