Time to go my own way, too

Hi.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Some things happened to me since I came across MGTOW this year, and life became significantly better and simpler.
I have spent plenty of money on improving my health and will spend more. I have been to three countries this year, and each of the trips was so enjoyable. I have understood myself and the world better.

And all thanks to your contributions, guys.

Being a young man in his 20-s, I do realize that I have so much potential that cannot be wasted. I realized that I want to become the best version of myself. I want to be able to do so many things and it’s time to finally start working towards that goal.

Not so long time ago, I noticed a couple of interesting things. I stopped loving to consume different stuff.
I used to watch plenty of Asian movies, anime and different musicians’ clips. I used to like to eat sushi, pizza, hamburgers and some other stuff. But now most of the enjoyment is gone when I do something that I just described above.

I guess, I can’t enjoy that simple stuff because this is not a treat to myself after achieving some goal, but rather something I would frequently allow myself to do.

It is time to start CREATING something – that is what my heart longs for. Feeling of accomplishment.
Understandably, it’s hard, but hey, it is kinda difficult to continue lying to yourself, especially with your eyes wide open.

There is also another thing that I would like to say to other guys who might be around the same age as me: there are so many talents hidden inside you. Just look for them and use them to your own advantage. Learning how to use them will not end up in vain – you will become a better version of yourself anyway. For example, I am learning how to draw. Even though I will not become a cool artist, but it’s still a nice skill to have, especially for an IT-guy. And it helped me train my will power.

This is all great to hear man. Good for you, for building the life you want – and *not* the life other people want you to have!!

If you don’t mind my asking – how did you wind up GYOW? I know some guys came to TRP/MGTOW after being burned by women in their bluepill days. Other guys, more and more younger guys like yourself, seem to be coming to the path by looking at others’ experience and saying “Wait …. why the f~~~ would i want to take that road? I’m GMOW!” in so many words.
