I just saw the link to the Yahoo Article on drudgereport.

Some 750 doctors in 25 countries are to perform the procedure on more than 3,000 volunteers to mark World Vasectomy Day, with many operations being provided for free or at discounted rates.

Of course the leftists on Yahoo are presenting it as men helping women by taking the “burden” of birth control of of women.

Around four in 10 pregnancies worldwide are unplanned and event organisers said that family planning is still too often left to women, who are the ones who must deal with the consequences of unintended pregnancies.

Let me add that about 9 in 10 pregnancies worldwide are unplanned by men, but carefully planned and executed by women, and the men are FORCED to deal with the consequences.

But the thing is, even though not in any headlines, men are waking up and with events like these they are making a point. That number will grow every year despite the lack of media coverage.

For someone who already has children a vasectomie is painless and affordable. I’m glad I did.

The only downside – my stupid corporate insurance doesn’t f~~~ing cover the cost. Of course, female sterilization is covered to almost 100%, but vasectomy? Nope. Dogf~~~ers. Ah well, worth every penny that i paid (out of my own pocket) for.

Yes, I considered it a good investment in future tranquility and it is. 5 years later and I’m very glad I went ahead with it. It was an easy choice for me since I’m already blessed with three amazing children. But I will not give another woman the chance to hold me by the b~~~~ through my sperm.
My medical paid for a big part of it and I added the rest. I don’t much know about the cost of vasectomie anywhere else but I understand that invasive birth control is practically free for weemins – surprise! – since they have all the rights in the Universe.

On a related side line of this topic, I have thought about sperm donors.
This seems to me like betraying your kind. While we’re all getting snipped and fighting the good fight some idiot somewhere is jerking off and helping some miserable bitch breed. That is not going to end well.
I have nothing against a “happy couple” (if there is such a thing) finding a donor, and I’m sure there will be friends or family members who could help out or maybe a sperm bank if no other option.
