During years of effort and work, I found that income is not consistent, regardless of effort and commitment. The basic knowledge of planning and budgeting seems to forgotten by many people, especially when women are involved. The key to having a comfortable living is simple, but begins with a bottom line. That bottom line is your total income. You need to know that first.
MGTOW is full of successful people who have refined their lives in becoming financially successful, whether it is with a 5 figure income or more. I am not a wealthy person by any means, living with an income that is below the poverty line, and yet I can make a comfortable life out of it.
I use several methods to maintain my budget, but the first important fact is to not live beyond your means. We only have a set income, and it makes sense that if you spend less than you bring in, you will be able to afford your lifestyle. The moment you cross that line, you will begin to slip into debt.
When I spend money, I make sure that I only buy sales and discounts. If it isn’t on sale, I wait until it is. There is very little in life that you need immediately. Patience will get you the same luxuries in life for only a fraction of the cost.I also do not play favorites. You can be my favorite store to shop in, but if I find a better deal for the same quality at my local shop than at Best Buy or such, then I will go to the local store. Remember to include all the options of who can sell you what you are looking for.
Avoid the fast and easy foods. These places are making simple meals that cost far more than if you made it yourself. I will spend 150 dollars in groceries a month, and if I did not buy them on sale, it would be about 250 a month.

Most importantly, if you do not have the money for it, you do not really need it. Don’t put it on credit, or it will just keep costing you. Something that cost only 100 dollars will soon be 150 dollars or more, just because you couldn’t wait. Is it really worth that extra cost? These are just a few basic ideas of how to avoid money troubles. What are some of your things that help you maintain your budget? What advice would you give someone that is just rebuilding themselves from divorce rape?
Make out a list of your needs and your wants. Your needs are things that you absolutely, positively cannot live without. You have to eat, you need a roof over your head, you need to not freeze to death, and you need transportation.
For eating, you start with what you need to survive. Rice and beans if that’s what it takes, maybe a cheap multivitamin (not to start a vitamin debate). If your place is too expensive, downgrade. I just moved into a cheaper apartment this month. Keep your utilities as reasonable as possible. If you’re like me and have no access to reliable public transportation, make sure your vehicle is reliable.
After that, focus on your debts. Pay the minimum on everything you can except for your lowest debt. Funnel as much money into that debt as you can until it’s gone. Then, take ALL OF THAT MONEY and instead of increasing your standard of living, tackle the next lowest debt. Repeat that process until you are debt free.
Save back what you can for retirement. Not so you can pass it on to someone, but so you have a means to survive when you’re not longer working. Do the hard work now and you won’t have to worry about working hard later. The goal is to reach a point where you can enjoy life as much as you can as quickly as possible.

Very good topic. It really is that simple, yet so few understand.
Save your money, you are going to need it.

Uly I don’t know if you live in the U.S. but if you do I advise everyone to open a Roth IRA account and contribute the maximum amount allowable every year. The two great advantages of a Roth IRA is that your holdings can grow year after year tax-free, and when you eventually withdraw the money it is yours 100% tax-free provided you are age 59½ or over and you’ve had the Roth IRA account for five years or more.
