Well, after almost three decades for me, a little man with a badge and a gun rang my doorbell and handed me some papers. I finally had a label – “Defendant”. Me – whose only run in with the law was an ancient 35 in a school zone ticket. Me – “Defendant”.

My x was always on the computer (pre smart phone) typing away to the hive.

Thank God for history. I was able to read everything the hive was saying. A woman would express how awful her marriage/dear hubby was.

It was like clockwork. Step by step instructions on how to f~~~ him and her children over.

Never, not once did any of the devil’s ever recommend that she become a better person and be decent and any s~~~ to improve her situation within her relationship.

It was all about how to mutiny and use the authority to throw the captain off of his ship.

Then, about a year later, my wife expresses her misery. Each woman waited her turn in line. It was my wife’s turn. They worked on a one year plan.

The end goal was that she was going to take a two week vacation with the child and go to her father, never to return.

I read it all. The day came for her vacation. I helped pack s~~~ in car and kissed her good bye.

She was loving to the end.

I have been a witness to this countless times.

Almost every friend who married and told me of the “joys” I was missing out on, how I “didn’t know what I was missing” and how I would “see the light” and get married soon.

Aside from two exceptions (one a widower), they never saw it coming.

Worse, yet, most of them where fools enough to try it again.

And I still remember telling one, after his second divorce, telling me how “wonderful” marriage is.

“So wonderful that you lost everything twice, and had to declare bankruptcy twice ? Are you foolish enough to want a third round ?”

Those “loving wives” re-enforced the “inoculation” my cousin gave me years ago. All I had to do was look.
