I agree! The wall is useless. Whatever a man built, another man can break. So instead of a wall I’d have guards cross country to be there 24/7. Snipers all over the place. Artillery, tanks, drones…the whole f~~~ing cavalry!

Building a wall will help but mostly in a symbolic way. They will find ways around, under or over particularly to Calcukifornia.

Attacking them trying to cross the border would certainly help to put them off coming but the most off putting thing would be if they were simply kicked out or put into a labour camp for 5 years then kicked out. While they know they may get allowed to stay, what is there to lose by trying? Its not rocket science. Make there no point coming then they will stop.

Walls do work when built well. Israel’s new walls are doing quite well.

But i also have said we need a 100 mile dmz area, on mexico side, where our troops and pilots can do live fire training at any people that are in that zone. We can test new weapon systems there and keep troops trained and up to date on skills there.

I’m in Australia, we fixed these type of issues with offshore detention. I know we’re an island with natural protection (the sea).
But the same principle applies, refugees need to be detained and processed, every country needs to have the right to choose who they let in (sovereignty).
It’s a sick world and I have empathy for genuine refugees fleeing persecution for their lives, but why can’t other South American countries help?
I believe these refugees are economic just looking for a better life, and it’s up to the country whether to accept them, based on the country’s rules.
Perhaps the real solution is helping them in their own backyard, setting up factories, encouraging them to help themselves.
But surely first comes the interest of the locals, and with the changes that are coming with AI and automation we will all have enough problems of our own.

INS securety should also help train correctional officers (from prisons) on detention tecchniques.
Instead of using the military in heated situations, you could use police,INS, and CO’s from prisons to deter the issue. I know prison CO’s are a state mandate, but those “states” concerned can co-ordinate effectively.

I would have a discussion, first, with that newly elected president in Mexico, and if agreeable to my solution I would proclaim that California, Oregon, and Washington are no longer part of the United States. (sanctuary states?…gimme a break!) Then I would add Puerto Rico, Guam, and yes, even Mexico to the stars on OUR flag. Maybe that new Mexican president would like to be Governor of Mexico instead, with all the backing of the U.S. Federal Reserve to fight those cartels with. Think about how to solve this with thinking about economics.

Imagine this. If FOOD or Groceries only get delivered? How do you wait outside to get panhandle or ask for anything? If you have an entire nation that no longer works unless you get the invite in, and can be thrown out without even a word, what happens then?

This is the world that is coming. The best part is? Most of us will be unaffected by all of it. You want to see what truly not caring looks like? Oh god, it’s going to be a wonderful sight.

The real problem? These people will be working for Pennies, and you just made that sitting in your humble abode.

That is how bad it will get for these people that wish to be slaves. You can’t put a law on it. You can’t stop people from being themselves, and for once, you should enjoy the hell they create.
