Okay, then we just call it a job, there are no interviews, they can’t quit, and they don’t get paid–but they don’t know any of this in advance. The judge just sentences them to work on “the farm” for whatever duration is appropriate (we get an all-female jury to judge a man, and then use that as the blueprint for “appropriate”).

Basically what this article is saying is that the woman that committed the crime is the real victim because she are being punished for her behavior. The obvious solution is to not commit the crime. But that would require accountability and responsibility.
