    Flip the script and see if women would be annoyed and/or angry at the ‘sexism’ for the assumption that they need special treatment each month in order to deal with a normal biological function…

    This company wants women to take time off for their periods, and it will even pay them to do so, because it ‘cares’ so much about the rest of its employees who have to put up with whiny bitchy women at specific times of the month.

    The company encourages women on their periods to just leave the rest of the people (staff) in peace until these women can control themselves again and be more tolerable after the initial worst part of their period has passed.

    Here’s a day or two of pay. Now go away and get through this monthly portion of your life which obviously proves you can do anything a man can do because of empowerment and independence and strength, and equality and whatever else, except manage a biological function.

    Obviously, this period thing was planned by the patriarchy and companies who support the struggle of women everywhere will pay just so the rest of their employees don’t have to put up with women on those days.

    Women used to get upset because they were not allowed to participate during this religiously identified ‘unclean’ space of time. Now women want to be paid to be away from work because they deserve compensation for a normal biological function and that has nothing to do in any way shape or form of saying that they can’t handle this time.

    Compensation for taking time off – the new voluntary empowered choice for women during their ‘unclean’ time.

    But then, none of this is a surprise. We’ve gone from forcing inclusiveness in other areas like race relations to those who wanted inclusion deciding they actually want segregation by excluding the people they wanted to be included with, so why should it be any surprise that the fights women had to be included would end up with them segregating themselves (and demanding pay for that segregation) for or at least in part the very reasons they initially said they were discriminated against?

    You can’t segregate us. Segregation is bad.
    We can segregate you, and we can segregate ourselves from you, and that is good because we say so.

    Hypocrisy.

    they will make companies so unprofitable with period leave, maternity leave, expensive HR departments

    we will just see a rise in setting up their own business as an independent contractor or micro enterprise and easily out perform large corporations

    and as men downsize, they can become self employed, earn enough to live and enjoy their hobbies

    What they need to do now is hire more woman. This way the hive can literally bleed the company dry.

    I want to see stats in 5 years of the productivity jump when the bloody c~~~s are out on leave. No pun intended! Let’s see no possible sexual harassment, no distraction with slutty outfits, no manipulation tactics to help them. I see it as a win. And when stats prove it, what will the bitches say then? Oh yes I’m sure the patriarchy made up all these lies! Screw them!

    Of course, the company is likely going to fire men to make up the short fall for giving women time off and then demand the men still working company work harder for less pay to make up for less jobs.

    To fire the women, or demand the women work more would only leave the company accused of “sexism”.

    The arrogance, greed, and laziness of women are going to lead women right back into the red tent.
