I read most of that thread.
This in-fighting is ridiculous and calling out a TROLL or T~~~ within the first minute is not very wise at all. Especially DEMANDING someone starts an intro on the FIRST day. Give the guy a break!
Some of us were and some still are traumatized from losing their socks in a divorce, not counting children and other things. Writing about one’s self isn’t as easy-peachy as some seem to think here, it is NOT so quit pushing new menbers around in the hopes of unmasking a C~~~ or TROLL.
Take a look at MY “introduction”, not much there is there? Why? Am I a TROLL? A C~~~? Hell no. I simply can’t write everything that happened to me without losing it and going into a rampage! Just thinking about that s~~~ makes my blood pressure shoot through the roof!
I’d rather pepper my subsequent posts with it here and there in the forum. It’s less painful and hopefully someone will wake up to it.

I do appreciate certain menbers’ dedication and zeal to keep this place C~~~-Free and Troll-Free but guys, let’s not throw the baby with the bathwater, shall we?

The way I see it there is always a danger when a group becomes to aligned with one opinion.
The danger is lack of freedom to have different ideas and the policing or repression of dissent.

In this sense I do agree with hitman in this thread. Live and let live. A difference of opinion can be faced without using shaming speech.

Yet this is a man’s place.

This means people will say their mind, people will call them up, and people will get into a p~~~ing match.

It is actually a way for men to know eachother and respect eachother.

He’s likely a troll. I don’t see any sort of intro from him and I’ve never seen him post on threads where a brother has an actual problem with his life. He only posts on political threads or threads on current events.

I’m Christian and I rarely have ever posted anything about that on here because I realize that there are a lot of atheists, agnostics, or whatever on here that don’t want to be constantly bombarded by my views.
