Hey DeepInThought, this post was found in “spam” so I just released it. Just dropping a link can alert a spam filter, but it’s not a problem. It may just be held back for a bit. Responded to your email too.

A wind up? No, I think the agony aunt columnist really means it. The part about angry wife nagging him for months, agony aunt does not see anything wrong with this. It’s all some man’s fault, no matter what it is.

My take is their real problems are a misunderstand of basic finances. Angry wife should be worried about them both going bankrupt, but antagonizing hubby will not change his mind about anything. It made him more stubborn. What else did she expect?

I bet he has had enough of her s~~~ and is driving them bankrupt so the divorce settlement won’t bankrupt him all over again. He is like an animal caught in a trap. He is chewing off his paw to escape.

This guy’s “monstrous selfishness”, how dare he spend the money, that he makes, marriage is 50/50, he makes the money and she spends it, doesn’t he know anything. How is she supposed to financially rape him in divorce if he keeps spending it and putting it on the mortgage.
Happy wife happy life, blah blah blah, that’s why I’m single, it’s tough but I “have to” spend all my hard earned money all by myself, how I miss not having a lovely unicorn help me spend my money on useful necessities like, endless shoes, bags and fashion that lasts a millisecond. Those $150 haircuts and manicures, solariums and massages, I’m starting to get myself upset remembering that life. What a coincidence, this story comes just as I bought myself a Porsce Cayenne today, I just had enough of sacrifice and responsibility, I need to enjoy myself. Reward myself to keep encouraging myself, I work hard, earn well, so I’ll enjoy it, no more compromise.

When the war cemeteries are half full of the corpses of dead conscripted women, only then will women have earned the right to speak of equality. Sidecar “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” - Bob Dylan

She has hit the panic button: “no..no…NO! My male support base is realizing he has financial freedom and can enjoy the pleasures of life without my consent! How did he know? Who told him? What do you mean he is self actualizing? THAT WASNT IN THE VOWS!!!

I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.
