Thanks BlakeGuy. The full-time job is a done-deal. I become a full-time company employee on Monday.

My lawyer doesn’t see this thing going to court. I’ve done some preliminary research that shows the value of my condo has remained flat over the past 3 1/2 years. My IRA has done very well as we’ve been in a bull market for the last few years. But should be offset by the growth of her retirement accounts. And, I have not contributed it to it during the marriage due to the career transition.

Like most women, she doesn’t think analytically. She will have a hard time looking past her emotions. And, I’m sure whatever lawyer she hires will be more than happy to rack-up the billable hours. I may have to throw this bitch a bone get her to stop barking. Most likely, that will be short-term alimony. If that’s what it takes to protect my condo and retirement account, I can live with that.
