I’m financially independent and while I don’t flaunt it, I don’t hide it either. It’s funny to meet a woman dressed in my everyday clothes, something like a beach bum, and then see the reaction of the same woman when I’m dressed to go somewhere nice.

HA HA HA!!! I’m in the exact same situation. They sneer at me in my beach bum clothes and then stare at me when I get into my car and drive away. F~~~ ’em.

Anyway communication, real open communication, is not wanted or even required in a relationship. Women cannot handle fully open and honest communication, plus most perceive it as a weakness on the part of a man. All that is required is catering to her whims, and even then nothing is certain.
