    Hi.

I was what you call a typical “White Knight” despite the fact Ive always been as nice as I could and would do anything for them, Ive had a string of bad relationships. Basically the past four ex-girlfriends have all been psychotic, pathological liars, cheating sluts (quite openly without remorse) or a combination of the above. They left me heartbroken and hurt, I couldn’t understand how someone could be so cruel to another person. This relationship game felt such hardwork and it was never seemed worth it. Even though Im athletic and an alright looking guy, there is not plenty of fish in the sea and I never met “the one”. I used to come home on a night alone, feeling a failure.

Then one day I woke up and just stopped chasing women and looking for a girlfriend. And you know what… Ive never felt happier !
It feels great to be free and not worry about having to please anyone else. Its so good to do what makes me happy, for a change. And spend my money on what I want. Its like a burden has been lifted from my shoulders, theres no pressure now.

Interestingly I started to act MGTOW without even realising it. I never knew MGTOW existed, there was a MGTOW philosophy, or phrases for it and I never knew there is other guys out there who have had the same experience.

Even though Im not as extreme as some… I don’t use the terminology or believe in feminist conspiracies. I do believe in making yourself happy, look after yourself because sometimes it seems nobody else does.

    Nice to meet you all.

welcome sir, i’m glad you found the path to freedom. enjoy the forums and the website.

look after yourself because sometimes it seems nobody else does.

this is especially true for men. Women and children are treated with higher priority.

And spend my money on what I want.

now you get to spend time and money on what your want…

    Cheers

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

Welcome, and congrats on finding your way here.
It was a surprise for every one of us to find there were others who came to the same conclusions.
It’s even more astounding when you read about men who’ve realised the same reality since the beginning of recorded history.

Nice to meet you as well!

That’s it right there, isn’t it? That pressure is a false pressure, put on us by unhappy people who want to believe their way is the only way. It’s like if you went to an island where everyone had a blood-sucking parasite on their neck. They know it, well… sucks. But they don’t want to believe it. So they tell everyone how great it is to have this parasite. If everyone has a parasite, then it’s OK, it’s just the way things are supposed to be. Then you arrive without a parasite attached to your jugular. They don’t want to warn you not to get one, because then they are admitting to everyone, especially themselves, that is terrible. So they tell you how wonderful these parasites are. And ask you when you are going to find a parasite of your own. Even go so far as to belittle you for not having one. Make you feel singled out and unworthy. Not because it is great to have something constantly sucking the life right out of them, but because they are resentful of the fact that you are free from it.

A bit extreme, but there it is!

Great intro lookafter#1. Welcome to the oasis in the desert. Ever since joining this site I`ve accessed it everyday without fail – best damn site on the internet.

Your intro mirrors my experience from start to finish, and probably many other guys on this site. Only difference is I managed to escape 2 marriages practically unscathed. Maybe I should change my name to Houdini 😉

    Enjoy the site!
