The hashtag was used to show how harassers expect their actions to be perceived and how women really see it. A 2014 survey showed that nearly 65 percent of women have experienced street harassment.

Well, as you may know they only do that whenever it’s either convenient to them or whenever it might serve some ego feeding service to them no matter how twisted it may seem at times.

Men can not be held accountable for how an individual woman would interpret their actions… and this is why sexual harrassment laws specify that an event must occur a second time after it has been clearly indicated as unwanted before it can be considered harrassment.

Street harrassment my ass. If a hot girl pranced from one end of Manhattan to the other and every man who saw her tried to pick her up and she never said anything to any of them, positive or negqtive, then zero harrassment has taken place. It’s only harrassment when she says “No, thank you.” and the man persists AND she doesn’t want him. Believe me, if she did want him, she wouldnt be calling it harrassment and if THAT wasnt true, no woman would ever play hard-to-get.

Women. They complain when men hit on them and they complain when men don’t hit on them. The only difference is how much money, power and fame the guy appears to have and/or whether he looks like he’d treat her s~~~ty enough to make her vagina tingle.
