My ex kept trying to convince me to keep using my old laptop. She knew full well it wasnt capable of gaming but wanted to make me dependent on her for everything, including entertainment.Its the same general principle. I think it comes down to that, the power over men by controlling every avenue of their lives. Needless to say, the first thing I bought when I left was a new computer, 2 monitors and some very expensive headphones, speakers, mouse, keyboard etc.
