Not because she’s talented but because they are following the lead of ESPN.

The product these days sucks and I’ve been pondering canceling the WWE network anyway. This is months after having women headline one of their PPVs. I’m done. Bye bye WWE network.

It’s been downhill since Stephanie McMahon (Vince’s daughter) was hired into the front office.

I loved Pro Wrestling back in th 80’s but when I tried watching it a few years back I noticed that the soap opera element had been expanded on and many of the matches would end early because of some kind of drama, third parties entering the ring and cheating etc.

So adding a woman announcer is just another death blow.

Women not only are headlining PPV’s, they’re getting their own in October. Safe to say that one isn’t worth recording, let alone watching. I would be right on board with you in canceling WWE network, but NXT and the option to watch old PPV’s are the main reason I keep it.

Oh, and by the way, she’s miles better than the sheer stupidity of Coach, nonsensical ramblings of Booker T(although they can be entertaining at times) and that black hole of charisma, David Otunga. I would compare her to Byron Saxton too but she’s not replacing him. Well, he can be annoying as f~~~ sometimes.

I haven’t watched wrestling since 2007 regularly. Wrestling is dead.

haven’t watched in years now. It’s sad to see how it’s gone downhill. Female announcer or not, they were bound to suffer now that they don’t have any true rivals on TV to compete against. Trying to push Roman Reigns as the face of the company was the last straw for me. I punched out and I doubt I’ll be back.

    Bobby Heenan and Gorialla Monsoon.

    Jesse Ventura and Vince McMahon.

    Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Now THOSE were some incredible wrestling announcing teams.

I used to watch wrestling back when it was about the men. When women started getting involved, it lost my support.

The fake will now be announcing the fake? Not my problem.

Nope. Funny that they need to piggy back off the men in order for their division to work. Ever hear of GLOW? It didn’t last long.

That was my rationale but NXT isn’t as good as it used to be (IMO) and I have plenty of old tapes and DVD’s I can watch, plus there is youtube. A subscription to the network is a vote to the current product but there is so much archived footage that I can see why one would not want to cancel.

That’s another reason I’m canceling – the Roman Reigns push. I almost did a month or so ago when he won the title but I thought I’d give it more time. I’m done.
