The what do I focus on after a day of work test? Crisis with time, etc….

So, I am now faced with this, and maybe some else can chime in here.  I say it can relate to being MGTOW.  I would say it is a bit of a crisis in identity and so on.  It pretty much has to do with how much I want to bother with said “manosphere” stuff and the point of it all.

I had, for example looked over what the Men’s Rights Movement wants, and maybe outside of balance on rape issues, what the heck is there for me?  I am not involved with women at all in any capacity, and I am too old to get drafted, and so on.  Here is a Wiki page on it:

I do see the Mayor of MGTOW’s work, and it looks good, if it can help men be able to survive longer, and I understand why he feels the need for it.  I do see the work as an end in itself.

I am now doing a YouTube channel, and I question why I should bother doing it as much, particularly after a day at work, why should I bother?  Why not just get to sleep and unwind, and use a day off, if I have cash for doing something.  Why even be here?  I am curious if my channel really matters anyhow.  When the member count goes down, am I doing it wrong, and my worrying about subscriber count and metrics seems to go beyond a principle of minding my own damn business in life and working on myself.  I get moments of likely to drop and just live.  In that I am thinking this is maybe why MGTOW isn’t seen.

But, let me get to the last one, which I am posting because of a MGTOW evangelism post.  I don’t get the point of evangelizing for MGTOW.  Is the goal to try to get as many men to divorce as possible, or get into the lives of men you don’t know to stop them from marrying?  I can see if one wants to invade dating sites, the site is going get you kicked off it, for undermining the business.  I can see, if you run into a man who is thinking about MGTOW, to talk about MGTOW, but to go on active crusade for MGTOW as a label, selling it like a product, seems to me to turn MGTOW into some sort of cult of sorts, with its values, where you as a member get value in life based on how many you recruit to it, and your meaning in life is based upon how relevant MGTOW is to the world.  In short, if you are the only man to be MGTOW, you would feel your life is a failure.  Secondarily, as I see it, this view can also hold that merely being MGTOW fixes the problems of a man, and all he has to do is avoid things.  I hold that alone isn’t true all men, so trying to say MGTOW is the answer, is missing the point.  Is MGTOW a part of a way a man gets free?  I would say yes, but it is only part.  I believe one has to go their own way, find it, and do it, and start to be a success in life.  I don’t see turning MGTOW as an end in itself is the answer for a man to find happiness, and that seems, for me to work against what MGTOW is about.

Anyhow, just my thoughts.  Having a long day of work, and then trying to work out and the gym, and come home to unwind, and being tired, I begin to think what I do I really want to spend my time on.  Answers below are welcome.  And understand my thinking here is my thoughts up for input.

You make excellent points.

I think everyone “gets a bit excited” when they find MGTOW. Because most true MGTOW are actually guys that had given up on women, well before they found MGTOW and realised there was even a name for it.

Then the excitement wears off.

I think the thing to know out of this is, that MGTOW is not a “thing” it’s not a “group” it’s really a consequential phenomena that happened by itself, and because of the internet, SOME OF US found each other.

Imagine it like this, there is maybe 20 or 30 times, maybe hundreds of actual MGTOW, but those guys just don’t know that there even is a YT community.

In terms of being evangelistic, I hate that s~~~. Evangelising directly is so cultish – Yuk

Your post resonates the “solution based” Mr “fix it” we all have within us. We know that society is f~~~ed and that we are at the bottom of its priorities, and we feel like we need to, or can, or should, “fix it”

We can’t fix it, the world is, and has been a while, going MGTOW. Marriage is the first collapse. And more will follow naturally.

Men also are HOPELESS at working together. As a collective, doing the “collective” thing, we don’t stand a chance against the female. Because they have biological in-group bias. Which we don’t.

Perfect example is my crowd funding campaign for MGTOW – The Album. I put out there to make an album last few days on my channel, and had heaps of “Yeah Man” – f~~~ yeah, do it! whoooo hoooo..! MGTOW United mirrored the video.

But no one donates, no one puts their money where their mouth is.

Where Anita Sarkeesian can get $160,000 in a few days to make a pile of s~~~. Because WOMEN help each other.

Sad to say dude, but yeah MGTOW is a solitary thing. – Take it for the science, and the truth. Leave YT if you want, main thing is, that you know the truth now for the rest of your life. And the red pill reality. There is no going back. So yeah, you need to make a new life, and be happy in that real world. Take care Brother – RPC

When someone proselytizes, then the converts will still expect your leadership, and expect rewards.  If the rewards are not forthcoming, you become the object of criticism.

the MGTOW trend is leaderless.  We are too busy going our own way to be wrapped up in giving sermons on the mount.

If you want to share information then share in your own way an in your own time.

I have written a few articles sheddingtheego.com.  I’m still developing my writing style.  However, I only write about something that is a new perspective for me and is as least moderately researched.  This takes time.  Hence only a few articles.

I never ditched MGTOW, when I left here I was still on youtube and another MGTOW forums. Youtube is always my first choice for MGTOW community. Why be here? Because we can save lives by warning men on things that can happen to them.

I am up for doing more stuff, and trying to connect, get resources and so on.  It is now that I have a job, I am more spent at the end of the day doing things, and I really want to get on things.  What I had when I wasn’t working was too much time, and trying to find  a way to advance in life, and start having dreams about that, which I should know better about.  I do get a feeling that a number of MGTOW doing things, see it as some sort of large social movement, not a phenomenon, and believe they are part of something larger.  In one sense, MGTOW is and they are, but it is something that happens independently of what MGTOW do or don’t do.  I see those who want it to be larger, end up trying to fill a hole in their lives, because they don’t have anything else.  For those early into the MGTOW game, like Sandman (I believe he is an ex-Christian, and he has the idea of MGTOW as some sort of brand to market), Barbbarossa, and Stardusk, YouTube is their lives and persona, so they are there, and I can understand this.  But it seems newer ones are coming along, and even I have been in this, where you have MGTOW as the thing to fill a purpose void in your life, rather than your own personal thing.

Anyhow, I just got in from work now, and I figured I would check messages and go watch a documentary I managed to get out from a local library.  There is a useful tool for MGTOW, a library.  You get stuff for free there, and it helps keep costs down.

Well, I am out now.   I am likely to put some videos up, where I get things on record, but just work as I can.  I do have a life to get to.  I did see it an issue as I am checking messages this morning, instead of wrapping up things for work.
