Facebook is amazing when you are 40 or older. I get to see all the women I dated and dodged and it is oh-so-great. I´d say most of them have become land whales, even some that used to be super-skinny.

My little brother, now in his 30s, also dodged a large one. After the break-up she went from normal to morbidly obese, pretty much like that one of the picture above. She married an obese guy, btw.

To me the wall is like the tale of the grasshopper and the ant. Male are ants, females are grasshoppers. During the summer of their lives they can take as much as they like, far more than what we could ever dream (take a look at the dough your average stripper makes, several hundred bucks in a couple of hours of dancing). The problem is that their tiny little brains are not prepared for savings, and when the winter wall comes its the end.

I have a female “friend” who shares some interests. She’s in her early 40s and has hit the wall, she’s not terrible or anything but she’s hit it.

Anyways, about a year ago she was remarking to me that she couldn’t understand why men aren’t approaching her at parties or what-not anymore.
I just made a hmph sound as if I had no idea. (And laughed inside.)
