In all honesty, it makes me ashamed of my country. I am all for patriotism & liberty & justice…

Sadly, those have along with everything else, have fallen by the wayside, or been shoved down a blackhole.

I grew up hearing about American made with quality & the land of the free & home of the brave.

For a country that prides itself on freedom, it would be grand if we actually had it, instead of all this legal corruption & censorship & and people being offended with damn near everything under the f~~~ing sun.

How the times have changed…sure hope Trump gets in office & has it on his agenda to do something about it.

If he can’t make it better, I hope he can at least manage to keep it from getting any worse.

If the truth be told, I would move out of the country if I had the means to do so.

It feels like ground zero for the gates of hell, that drove me to the brink more than I care to share & admit.

I feel really bad for our American brothers, America used to be a great country… 50 years ago. As a Canadian to be honest we are not so much better than you are now but to be honest whenever I think about America or talk to any foreign person about America the only thing that comes to mind is an obese culture that’s so corrupted by greed that they are sowing their own seed of destruction. I really hope Trump can do some good and if Hillary wins I hope whatever god you pray to has mercy on you lol.

In case my word use of ashamed was not clear…

I am ashamed it not being what it could have been & what it is instead.

Perhaps I used the wrong word to express my “world view” or macro view of the country, and ALL the s~~~ it does here & abroad.

As for white privilege in my personal life, the only reality those words have to me, is I am seen as the ultimate target in society for all kinds of s~~~. I don’t see how it is a privilege to me by any means. More like a freaking curse.

So, in that sense, yes, I feel guilty or ashamed, for all the times I allowed myself to be sucked into all the bulls~~~…before I started becoming aware of just how messed up s~~~ is.

On the other hand, it is what drove me to take on the micro approach as No so eloquently put it, to go my own way…which eventually led my journey to this great site.

Which I am extremely thankful for. In short, it is bittersweet…but as for the overall system of govt & The Federal Reserve, I despise that I am a subjected to it & a subject under it.

If I had any privilege to not be so, it would be number one on my agenda, to make it so. Regardless of the color or lack of, in regards to my skin.

The official unemployment rate dropped to 4.9 percent, from 5 percent. And average hourly earnings rose 2.8 percent year over year, a level not reached since 2008.
