About the Twain quote Itsallbs, I was just talking about it a few days ago with a friend… It is one of my all time favorite quotes… Men can be Narcissistic in nature, once they believe something, especially when they are older, their ego/narcissism does everything it can to protect the image of the world/themselves they have built up to believe, therefore they rarely realize how they have been fooled. In fact they often would much rather die believing what is a long held lie to protect their ego than have to face the truth.

I think its a lot simpler than a conspiracy. People with money and influence can get power in a democracy. Hillary had the best connections out there and heaps of money behind her but she was just so terrible that people voted for Trump instead. He had heaps of money and was a popular reality TV star.

The west is f~~~ed. Democracy in entering its final stage where the people have weakened the state with their foolish demand and yet are too weak in their courage and resolution to vote to make the right changes so they vote for people who tell them what they want to hear and give them supposedly simple solutions that will swiftly make them all fine again without losing much money.
