The "Take it like a man" trap…

Originally the saying “Take it like a man” was used to refer to a man who could endure physical or mental trauma and take it without complaining or flinching, stoic in the pain he could endure.

In today’s world this saying has been largely hijacked and taken over by women and used for their purposes on men.
Take it like a man(translation in her mind:
“If you just sit there and take all of my crooked crap than I’ll reward you with a pat on the head of approval by telling you that you are a man in my eyes.””That way I can get away with doing anything I want because you are afraid of my opinion of you as a man or not.”
“You worship me and abide by my selfish controlling standards for you so I can get what I want.”
A large part of this is for her purpose of using it as a control factor over him and to escape any accountability with anything she does to him or puts him through in a relationship. Telling him to take it like a man has also been used by women in the workplace. If he doesn’t take it she’ll turn right around and accuse him of being a suck who can’t take it.

When he “Takes it like a man”, and is not around, she will be talking about what a spineless wimp he is around her and just stands there and takes it.
No backbone around her. She delights in this talking out of both sides of her mouth for the power it makes her feel over him.
I let something sink in a while back as I stopped caring what women think of me as a man anymore and focused on myself and my life. A weight was lifted.

Cannot a man judge himself to be a real man or not by his own discernment,success, his own conscience, his own intellect and integrity? His standards he sets for himself? Men should have been doing this all along and not forgotten this truth.

“Tale it like a man” generally means put up with basically anything that will shorten your life. Anything that shortens your life …… makes you “more of a man”. It’s staggering how consistent this is.

• You should take a punch to the face, “like a man”.
• You should be able to handle any amount of stress, “like a man”.
• Wife raking you over the coals in divorce? “take it like a man”.

… if you don’t, it’s “what are you, a F~~?”

The good part is, no woman evert gets to lecture you with any authority on “being a man”. EVER. If you figure out how to get other men from perpetuating this crap too, be sure to let me know.

I watched a father play catch with his son using a mini-football. About 2 weeks ago. The boy fell and SCREAMED his little head off. His father walked up to him and held his fists like in a “boxing” stance and tried to teach him to “be strong”. I almost took a photo of the moment but wasn’t fast enough. I was witnessing a 4 year old being taught to “take it like a man”. Including zero compassion for his pain.

If it were a little girl, she would have gotten 2 scoops of ice-cream to make her “feel better”. A boy just has to “take it like a man” and keep playing football.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

And this is exactly the kind of women’s emotional good-as-long-as-it-suits-her-kind of “laser logic 101” right there —> No matter how a man reacts (be it ignorance of pain or be it full compassion about it) he can be either praised or shamed for it at her own will and whatever works best for her at any given time.

Now, when it comes to being shamed a good old quote from the movie “Devils Advocate” by Al Pacino springs to my mind.

The only power women have is proxy violence. If manginas were not ready to throw you behind bars for standing up to your c~~~ wife or girlfriend or mother or you get the f~~~ing jist of it, then this whole take it like a man s~~~ would not exist.

The moment a woman shames a man she would end up in a f~~~ing doctors office for it but in our mangina society women must be defended and men must white knight for women even to the point of death just because women have been given political power they did not earn and the vagina has a choice and they must fear on missing on by women (aka losing access to the pussy).

To be honest as long as the kid ain’t blacking out, losing conciousness, breaking a bone or bleeding out the most id do is give him an aspirin but if i had a daughter id probably rarely contact it none the less play football with it.

Her gift would seeing my face over getting ice cream since i am not the kind of guy who would call his daughter daddies little princess.
