    The earth is like a baby bird chirping in the void with all its outgoing RF signals not knowing what predators it will attract to come and kill it. There may be civilizations far more powerful that will find that helpless baby bird and decide to attack.

    There are two books by Greg Bear that address this theme. “The Forge of God” and “Anvil of Stars”. I loved them and I am actually reading them again.

    I love Sci Fi!
