I know a guy who is a local pyramid marketing entrepre-guru in my city. He is a licensed minister and runs a few different adult dating/sex groups locally. When he opens his mouth he has a thick southern drawl but he has essentially turned himself into a pop culture caricature, a magazine image. He is known by his nickname. His hair is thirteen-year-old boy on top and military on the sides. In his social media videos (which he does a lot of) he uses gentle baby talk to a degree that is annoying, supplicating and childish, and smiles so big and with so much effort he makes Joel Osteen look like an amateur…and I’d swear he wears makeup. Yet he also has black and white photos showing off various tattoos, with smoke hanging in the air, looking like the “bad boy” archetype––and for the fantasy art that it is, he plays it up really well. The bad boy nice guy dating preacher for singles groups, sex techniques, religious-party scene, soon-to-be millionaire social marketing guru as seen on tv who might take you with him on his next trip to Cabo.

    WELCOME TO THE PUA MAKEOVER
The male equivalent of the female who wears just a little too much makeup, gets botox and plastic surgery.
To be fair, when a woman markets herself, say on a dating profile, guess which profile my eye lands on? It’s the hot bleach blonde in yoga pants, with implants and botox lips, and not the ultra pale, wrinkled, natural real people. These guys are doing the same thing. They have engineered the art of the flash to attract people––mostly the opposite sex, since it looks ridiculous and fake to many of us guys.

I met another guy who went down the same road. Bleached white teeth, $300 sunglasses, and always talks about his Lexus. He’s in multi-level marketing sales. I guess it’s part of the job. Another closer friend of mine drives a luxury car, has an upscale condo, has trained himself to appear unruly yet perfectly uncaring in the presence of hot women. He tells me the expenses are the cost of doing business, and admits it is fueled by a psychological sense of lack, and yet in the end it’s not worth it but he knows no other way for himself.

These people are freaks of society. But I don’t blame them. They are variously normal people who have learned to survive, fit in, stand out, and earn their sustenance in a freaky television-based society. They make personal sacrifices with their identity, sometimes their bodies, in exchange for social recognition. Not unlike businessmen wearing suits and wearing grave expressions, it’s just that this crowd exists in a circus. They are essentially professionals who play the field.

Still, reminds me of my friend saying Americans are the alcoholic uncle of the global community.

I don’t care about the women, but I’m very leary of any man who makes his living with his mouth.

True – it’s evolution. People are literally changing. Unfortunately, the society that they are evolving to fit into is diseased and will not survive.
