It obviously gets easier with age and experience but you should never feel like you are obligated to anyone in any way.

A part of being your own man means you take an objective approach to your needs and limit your reliance on others. When you are self-sufficient, you will find that you owe no one anything.

You choose when you want to help others and when you want to participate in something. Nothing should be an obligation.

You cannot be free when you have too many obligations in life.

Never worry about what someone else thinks. Just say NO and be happy with your decision. YOU come first!

I respectfully disagree with that in one area, when it comes to a mans children. Another area that men are generally better than women. I would have never walked out on my kids and they know it. Unfortunately my kids can’t say that about their two timing whore of a “mother “

You would have better luck finding the Loch Ness monster hanging out with Santa Claus and Elvis in El Dorado than finding a liberal with a lick of common sense or integrity.
