The new divorcee in the office

I currently work in adult mental healthcare and 90% of the workforce is female.

Luckily I work in outreach so only call into the office for fortnightly meetings and get my new list of clients. All my reports are submitted via email. This time, one of the ladies (36 newly divorced) who works there, cornered me to ask me questions, more like being interrogated by the Gestapo:
why are you divorced ?
why are you not in relationship looking to remarry?
why do you still ride motorbikes ?
why do you have van and not a car ?
How many bedrooms does your house have ?
finishing with: we ought to get together, you need looking after. I’m 55 FFS !

My answer was “I keep my private and professional lives completely separate, I suggest you do the same” didn’t go down too well, I made sure there were witnesses present. I think she possibly has baby rabies.
Made a complaint to HR about being harassed in the workplace naming her. It’s important to get in first and recorded, as I can see her getting out of hand in future. I avoid her now if possible.
She is actually not hard to look at maybe 8/10, looks after herself, works out a bit, BUT no kids.
I have been down the road before was married with step kids and not looking to get into that s~~~ storm again.

I am a traditionalist and my people have always used white vans to carry out their tasks.

20 but not all have beds and some are subdivided bedrooms, I live in a 15 by 20 foot bedsitter.

the hive in the office already know quite a bit about me, they all swap notes I’m sure. Usually they are easily deflected no woman usually wants a biker with no car. This one seems unusually persistent. I never socialize with work colleagues so quite what the attraction is for her I don’t know. I am 19 years her senior so it can’t be sex.

They hive at work can guess at my resources as the hive works in HR and accounting. For some reason my boss (his post wall wife) only hires post wall fat woman for the none technical s~~~.

You did the right thing nothing good will come from engaging in conversation with her. She will not forget this slight best to be ready for when she shows her fangs. Going to HR was a good move you already won most of the war with that foresight when she starts the battle.

Do not be to quick to assume sex and marriage. You are a man, so to a woman there are many ways she can use you to get what she wants, whatever it is she wants. It could be money, sex, attention or whatever else women want in the moment.

I made the mistake of going in the office on one of my three bikes, my van is brand new fully paid for in cash, I gave my supervisor a lift to collect her car from garage on the way home as they pay my works mileage. They are assessing my net worth probably. Might have to say I am gay or something. Just been to Spain on my bike so maybe they think I am having too much fun. Which is true. There is no way I would ever let any of them in my home or workshop. They have nothing to offer me but they probably want my practical skills. I often get comments about how they like men who can do stuff. All they want is free work which isn’t happening. My time has value more and more as I have less of it left.
