Often times schools and colleges are not preparing kids for what they need to know in life after school. The kids are just as dumb leaving school as they were when they first started, and that is a problem. We are not raising a people who can take care of themselves. We are raising a generations of wimps who need s~~~ like socialism and participation trophies.

High schools don’t even teach kids about finances nowadays. Kids should know how to write a check. How to balance a checkbook. How to plan a household budget. How to buy insurance and how to pay bills. Even how to do taxes. These are skills that they will need and they are not being taught.

They don’t teach history and critical thinking skills. This is doing nothing but hurting the kids in the long run. And these kids end up going through life making the same mistakes their parents made, because nobody told them that they could do something different with their lives.

Colleges are the worst because they have essentially become indoctrination centers. The professors spout off their rhetoric and the kids soak it up semester after semester. These kids have no sense of direction. These are not leaders being raised. What’s gonna happen 20 or 30 yrs from now. Congress is getting old. We are going to need new leaders for the future. Not many of the kids today have any qualities that scream leadership. The scary part about this is…One of these fools is gonna end up president.

Colleges jacked the price of tuition and flooded the curriculum with s~~~ty useless degrees that are ‘easy’.

Yep that’s true. But employers still want you to have that piece of paper that says Degree. Even though you probably can know more about the subject than the students do.

I don’t think people go to school to study things like rocket science, biology, or medicine, and come put hardcore sjw’s. People who go to school with a real goal in mind to start a profession such as law, medicine, chemistry, etc will most likely come out with a degree in one of those fields and hopefully a job as well. That is exactly what i did and many people i know did as well.

The people who come out and join groups like antifa or blm are the ones who went to college with no clear plan or goal, majored in something easy like women’s studies or black history, and they come out with no real prospects of employment. They then become PROFESSIONAL protestors (as in they get PAID to protest) for their sjw causes because that is the only “employment” available to them.

On another level, these tend to be the weakest, sickest members of society prior to going in, which is why it appeals to them, and this is why the left appears so…well, insane. They are insane, but through academia and soros funded protest groups they are able to make a name and a living for themselves, something they otherwise never would have had.

In short, yes the schools are churning out idiots, but it is not turning the most productive members of society into idiots. It is just turning people who are already idiots into bigger idiots, and we are all unfortunately left to deal with the mess they created. As long as the globalists own our government and schools, and the schools continue to receive government funding, they will continue to spread their disease through our society.

I am all for good education. But the way that they do it in schools is just plain outdated. You have 1 teacher who attempts to shove down all of that “knowledge”, in a class of 30+ students? Everyone learns at different speed, there’s too many distractions.. school in it’s formal state is from stone age.

And yes like some have pointed out, Internet is a better resource for education. You don’t have to waste time to physically go to school, and wait for your “Highness” to arrive at the throne.

Since most high school graduates can’t read and write, college is necessary to become proficient in basic English, math and science. It’s an unfortunate and expensive fact. Millions are spent on primary and secondary education and illiterate morons are their product in too many cases. They can’t find their own continent on a globe, they don’t know who the president is. They can’t count change. They can’t add, subtract, multiply or divide without a calculator. Most importantly, they can’t think. They can’t reason or solve problems, and they believe that what they see on the movie screen is true. They are gullible and easily manipulated like the members of Antifa who have been in development by the media and NEA for years.

This is why DeVos taking on the Board of Education bureaurocracy (sp?) is heartening. My sister teaches 3rd grade and I wish they got rid of the board of ed altogether. Teachers are paid more and know less than ever before in history.
