As if we needed more proof that the modern day women is nothing but materialistic trash. I’m over hearing two ladies with young kids discuss where to live. Instead of opting for a smaller older home in a very good school district – both these 30 something c~~~s opted for the big McMansion in both s~~~ty school districts with gang problems and declining test scores. When I was a child in the 60s my mom insisted on remaining in a small apartment because the schools were top rate.
Not today’s Anerit~~~. She cares more about her granite counters, bonus room, square footage than her own kids education. You go girls – you’re dragging down society one kid at a time.

I am amazed with the selfishness displayed by modern women. Who cares if her son can read, just so long as she has granite counter tops and crown molding.

Just the savings from choosing the smaller home could put a womb turd through private school. Unless you’re spending $$$$ and have a reputable contractor, McMansions are nothing but bigger trailers.

This doesn’t make much sense to me. The mansions in my area are in the suburbs, where the public school systems are I guess “better” than the ones in the inner cities. Schools that have gang troubles are in the inner cities, where the majority of homes were build in the early 1900’s and are anything but mansions.

However I totally get the mindset of “I’d sacrifice my child’s well-being so I can have what I want.”

Way up in the far northern burbs of Chicago are some sketchy areas. These former farming communities lacked the tax base and population to build a decent education system. The school system is horrible and gangs form from boredom probably. These house hunting t~~~s know the schools stink but proceed to pressure their whipped husbands into buying these obnoxious boxes for status.

No matter what you do, you cant make these women happy. I hear it all the time at work, A guy bought a new 50inch led tv and he’s happy with it, but he said the wife said its not big enough, picture isn’t sharp enough.
and this was a brand NEW F~~~ING 50 INCH LED TV. The problem was there was not enough room to put a bigger tv in, he tried to tell a 60 inch wont fit.
Had to show her with a tape measure, that a 60 wont fit. But she kept saying it will. He looks at me and says Don’t Marry. I told him I wont EVER.

A McMansion is to a mansion as a cat turd is to a rib-eye steak. We have real deal mansions w/in 2-3 blocks of dilapidated crack shacks here. Their kids go to way better private schools so public school districts do not ever matter.
